Enmels Colony has survived and thrived. It soon became a State among kingdoms where all races are welcome... with consideration toward the common good and laws.
Led by a merchant council, with one head for each represented race, Enmel holding sway over the group though rarely using his power beyond holding the keys to the treasury.
The capital is called Kapali, named after a fortress on the water. A city on the river not more than a few miles from the ocean, mountain ranges north limit the movement of Corpa and great sight lines easily scouted even the forested areas do little to hide the movement of an army.
To the south are Lomalum and human territories.
Beyond that everuthing is up for discussion including terrain.

Having a guess we can either use our previous characters or create new ones?
Also with the character I told you about, her home would probably be in a decently populated human Kingdom or city where traders set up shop or pass through, like a city full of markets. With her presence, traders and citizens are given warning not to walk along the streets after dark because of thieves and the floating rumour of the 'creature of the coin.' making it's rounds. Probably unpleasant rumours about it such as you could lose your soul if found by it without any gold.
I say it's guaranteed Amelia and Alec now live in Kapali. The former working closely alongside Enmel and has a role in the state's army. Alec, it depends how much time has past since the events of the original.
Which brings me to this question, what is the time gap in between this and the first Mordugrad?

Snoe mentioned a minimum of 8 years but we have talked to up to 20. So somewhere between 8 and 20.

Death be correct.
I myself am tempted to use a Corpan Exhile. A very large Corpa by name of Hugo Latante. He's Duchess Cybbil's grandson and almost as big as a Lomalum.

I'd like to imagine Alec is at the age where he begins to choose his path. So here's hoping to 12 to 15 years.

Id be happy with 15yrs means the State is more solidified.

Also enough time for the railway to be finished.

Alright so since the Lomalum brothers I had used in the original were both nobility and leaders of men their is little chance that they would be permitted to remain in Enmel's colony. However, I would be certain the Lomalum would maintain a healthy diplomatic presence in the new state. For that reason, I was thinking of playing as the Lomalum representative in this new state. Or an agent in the brother's employ to both keep in contact with Enmel and also act in an official capacity to maintain the brother's interest in the region.
Thoughts?

Id presumed that would be the case.
Story wise i was thinking that the core group would be scouts/raiders for the would be invaders. Would your rep be amenable to such action. And Hugo is a known renegade to the Lom and Corpa, as in he hunts his own kind for sport... thus was exhiled.
Enmel wouldnt deal with any Lomalum other than the brothers so its likely that theyve gained wuite a bit from doing business with that Thusian over the years.

I believe I may have missed that part of your discussion. The core group is intending to raid/scout the new state? Who would this group be working for?

No... The new state will be invaded for resources. And this group hits the invaders and their camps. Working for Enmel.

Ah. Understood, I'm sorry I didn't understand what you had meant. Well since this representative will also be part of the Brother's house, a cousin most likely, they'd be quite welcoming of an opportunity to protect the town.

So should it be where Enmel has recently picked up Precious, and we do a flashback of her recruitment?
Oh the look on the council's faces when they see a feral half-Thusian pounce on top of their table mid meeting because she saw something shiny.

My Representative would be both highly curious about this creature and unsure why Enmel has acquired their services

That works quite nicely. Enmel smirking to the rest of them, introducing her as his Granddaughter even if its not true(leave that up to you) if only to keep her out of too much trouble.

Hugo riding into town on an Icra (lizard mount of Corpan royalty... he stole it crom home when he left) dragging some prisoners he caught whilst bounty hunting.

Amelia is there at Enmel's side for the council meeting, seriously resisting the urge to facepalm and mutter 'picking up strays again?'

I've decided that she *is* Enmel's granddaughter. One of his sons decided to seduce and have a one night stand with her mother.

Meanwhile my female Lomalum looks at the display wondering if it was customary for thusian grandchildren to jump on to tables.

Enmel would say its normal... only half the truth. Thusian children arr very energetic...

And there's Precious just perched in the middle of the table, fidgeting with the shiny object and self-conscious about everybody staring at her

"Does this mean she's not allowed near the merchants district? The amount of complaints pertaining to her snatching shiny objects may be more than even our gracious host, Enmel, can handle."

"Ive got plenty of shiny objects at home." Enmel adds coaxing her off the table with a silver coin.

How much of the worlds population do you think Enmel has fathered? A promiscuous immortal roaming around is a dangerous thing

As soon as her eyes lay upon the coins, she makes it over to Enmel in a single bound and giving no regard those in her nearby presence, almost knocking him over as she snatches the coins and lands smoothly on her legs. She perches beside him, fidgeting with the coins happily

Not as maby as you'd think. Though hes two children in Thusia and some grand children bot alot of roaming bastards. Tends not to lay with females of other species as often as others in his family lol
