The post order is decide by who goes first and those that follow and then round and round. If someone is away they can request to be skipped but we wait until we know for sure. Within reason of course

Alright so I can go next or you can Alex. I'm still working some things out with my scene but a general outline for it is coming together.
Also I was looking over the thread and I just wanted to clarify something. Our characters have multiple forms, their bestial form and their humanoid form. Though the humanoid form isn't as powerful as a well honed host would be, right?

Meh, I'll give it a shot to see how I handle it. Not sure where to start but I'll get something.

One more thing; should we utilise a stats sheet like for the rest of the RP's? Potentially for the main hosts of the demons to context/clarification?

Depends on the demon, some change shape other rely on magic. Asteroth is a physical type, the majority of his more powerful traits are from a physical form. To take physical form a host is required otherwise they are formless like ghosts. And a host also makes the demons abilities stronger, like hooking a guitar into an amplifier.
If you want Stat sheets for reference we can certainly do that

Ah, thanks for the clarification.
In other news, I got promoted to Noble Hare today. Quite a prestigious postion I must say.

I would write up the stats sheet, but I'm writing up my inaugural Relay post. If people would like me to curate one, then I will afterwards.

I'll wait for you then sounds like you've got it planned out for the most part. If not let me know and I'll throw somethin together.

Oh and I'm not sure if I was clear on this but within a relay each writer takes full control over the story and characters. That being said main characters are included BUT they must act in character and you can't purposefully hamstring them. It's why relays are small group projects, we communicate where we want to go how our characters would react and build a rapport with one another's writing style. It's a great writers tool.
We will make mistakes but that's part of communicating.
Also as far as main characters are concerned they cannot be maimed or harmed by other writers without permission but they can be moved in anyway that is not breaking their normal behavior.
Asteroth is very much like a snake in terms of hiding in plain sight patient and singularily lethal and sees to one goal at a time. When not on the hunt he's lazy and self indulgent lounging somewhere basking like a lizard on a rock and is almost a nice guy up until the sudden lethal move. Smart but straight forward and single minded will act on one goal at a time.

I see, that will be an interesting task. So that form of writing will take place after our initial post or will that happen when we come together?

When our characters interact or our underlings. And we can also use other Demons but the ones we start with are our mains and are stricter in terms of control.

Okay, I've posted my initial Relay post. Sorry it took a while; I kept getting distracted. Let me know if I've done anything wrong or missed anything, or just what you think. It'll be cool to join this thing.

Well good Lord. I'll be working on my scene now. Should be done by tomorrow. It'll take some time to rival your four hundred page novel.

The first posts in relays are usually massive, no need to compete but they're longer posts on average anyway.

I was mulling over things and was considering 'ranks' for demons even the 72 and since we're the only players its safe to narrow down the the bigger names. SO still using my reference material! I'm thinking the ranks divide up seniority, and the older demons have a bit more power as Demons evolve with age. King/Queen Prince/Princess Marquis Counts/Countess Duke/Duchess Knights President

Yeah, I thought that may be a good idea. I just gave him the 'Commander' nickname for other demons to potentially be sarky with him.
Technically, Sitri is a Prince, but they also have the power of a King. So I'm not sure where they stand.

Age doesn't mean everything some of them are more skilled than their superiors. The most powerful of the 72 I think would be Baal, he's practically Zeus, Beelzebub is close behind.
Asteroth is a Prince aswell but like Sitri very powerful and very old.

What would you say my character rank is? He's classified as a duke of hell with large legions, though I'm not sure if that translates to his actual rank.

Duke would be about right considering the majority of Dukes tend to rule directly as army commanders more so than the ones above them that seem more like nobility than anything.

I like to think it's still going; I just haven't had the time to properly type out a response since. Hoping to do it soon, though. Are you thinking of joining?

Go for it; I don't think Snoe would mind. It's a Relay though, so spend some time fleshing everything out to a rather precise degree for the best result.
