So it seems that the Fallen London idea is pretty popular, so I put together some initial plot ideas. I say initial because I'm betting we won't go five post before cheerfully deviating whatever plot I had in mind. So without further ado, here are my current plot ideas:
Tiger uprising - Shock! Horror! London's sole imperial possession, Port Carnelian is facing an uprising from the local tigers. As if the fact it originally belonged to them gives them a d n right to it. London is mobilising its forces to assert its claim over the region and is looking for irregulars to aid them. But still, how did the tigers, who were at each other's throats not days suddenly manage to organise themselves?
High stakes diplomacy between London and the Khanate - A zee-captain has been captured trying to insert spies into the New Khanate. When one of his spies was discovered to be a senior advisor to the Khan himself, the Khan was outraged and has demanded major concessions from London as recompense. In London, this is seen as a blatantly transparent attempt to test the strength of London's new mayor. The Foreign office has dispatched a team of diplomats, spies and other interested parties to attempt to smooth over this incident as quickly as possible.
The Movement for the Expulsion of Infernal Influences - "The enemy's among us, taking our souls." So says the Movement for the Expulsion of Infernal Influences. While the war with Hell was undoubtedly a mistake, to these men and women, that was no cause to grant the devils an embassy and let them roam the streets tricking innocent people out of their souls. The Movement has divided London, with many wishing to see the devils gone, while others fear a repeat of the war of 1870.
Feel free to suggest plot ideas of your own as well.
