Boredom comes quickly to Jeremy, especially when he is left alone. The others gathered in the kitchen, but it would be too loud, and he wouldn't get enough attention so he crawled through the house trying to find good spots for naps. Until he noticed the red headed girl stomping around the halls, curiosity gets the better of him so he decides to stalk her. Quietly he moves down the halls after the red headed girl, Jeremy moves from potted plant to behind a curtain using everything he can to hide. Eventually the girl stops at a room that isn't hers, and forces her way in. Jeremy brushes by her rubbing the side of his face against the inside of her left ankle. He scolds her in a mocking tone. "You do know its rude not to knock correct? Were you raised in a barn? Where are your manners?" He ask as he climbs the bed in the room and rolls on his back doing a perfect imitation of the Cheshire cat. "Before you say anything I'm a cat so I don't have to knock I'm excused from your social norms." He sticks his tongue out at her while rolling on the blanket, stretching his multicolored legs, and yawning. "I do love your hair!" He says excitedly, "What color is it, I want my tail to be that color." He continues as his vanity shows itself. "Sooooo what are we doing in here anyway?" His tail whips back and forth intrigued by what the girl could have planned.
(Meanwhile)
"Maybe you were a bit rough on the girl Sharna. I mean think back to your teen years, I know that was a long time ago, but..." He takes a small playful dig at her, then sips his beer before continuing. "Kids say stupid stuff without realizing it. I don't think she intended to be mean, well that mean anyway." He follows up his point, by placing his half empty bottle on the island next to him. "Besides if we all attack her, all its going to do is make her lash out more. I'm not saying we call her out, all I'm saying is if she screws up only one of us should scold her. We don't want her to think 'All those stupid adult fuckers are out to get me.'" He does an intentionally bad impression of her. "So let those two work it out among themselves, if it gets worse then we step in." He shrugs pretending like he doesn't like his idea, but he knows its the truth.

Highlight mulls over Ruby's words just before she rudely tells her to move it. She doesn't quite understand this girl... Why enter something expecting it's a competition and implying that they're not willing to work as a team because of it? She sources this poor sense of idealism that she is a young teenager and watched one too many, over the top reality shows... But it looked like she was truly guilty with what she said, so Highlight decides not to say anything back since there was nothing left to say. She just hopes the young hero has the decency to apologise to Matrix.
She turns to her head to another voice speaking to her and quickly discovers it belongs to Alex. She chuckles in am amused way. "Since when were you the diplomatic type? Last I checked, you loved to bitch." She teases with a playful push on his shoulder, but her expression turns into a look of sheepishness. "Was I that hard? I didn't mean to be too hard but... Matrix is such sweet little thing and the way Ruby spoke to her, asking what is wrong with her, that just wasn't on and had to say something... I feel I need to protect Matrix for reasons I can't explain." She sighs a little. "I'm sure Ruby will improve, she must feel intimidated surrounded by so many more experienced and well known heroes, but I'm more than willing to give her the chance to make room for improvements." Her words make her sound like she's being very reasonable, partly because that's how she wants to be and another because it will make her look good on camera, everybody loves the peacekeeper role, and admitting her protective nature for Matrix will just boost that.
She changes the subject. "Anyway how are you? You rushed off so suddenly before we had the chance to catch up." She says, looking rather concerned for Alex after seeing him so nervous and running off like he did. She hopes everything is alright with him...

"Someone needs to be the adult around here, since neither of you two geezers", he points a finger from Highlight to Orbit then back "aren't going to do it, I guess its up to me." He sighs playfully as if he is crushed by the stress of it all. "Think of it as me bitching about the way you're treating her if that makes you feel better." He sticks his tongue out at Highlight playfully, as she pushes him he feigns injury as he puts on a false pout and rubs his arm. "You been working out? I couldn't tell with the belly and all." He laughs and puts his arms up as if to block a blow he thinks may be coming. The line about Matrix rubs him the wrong way now he was unsure if this was Sharna or Highlight talking. He really liked her, but her obsession with fame always bugged him.
"Its just..." He pauses for a moment as if in deep thought. "Well you know about her dad right? The girls got a lot of weight on her shoulder, I understand that so I guess I see a bit of myself in her." He looks at his beer, and subconsicoiusly starts peeling the label out of nervousness, at Sharna's question. "I'm fine." He says weakly not convincing anyone and he thinks it was best to just not say anything. "Why is it so hard to lie to her?" He wonders to himself, as he tries to think of something to change the subject, a few seconds of silence later Katie returns. "Well if Live isn't ready I guess I'll go next." He jumps off the island and heads to the room. A few moments later and he's done, he felt confident in his ability to come off the way he wanted. Unsure of where to go he returns to the kitchen seeing that he hasn't missed too much. "That was a pretty easy interview, say Sharna what did you get for number three, I picked 'C Godzilla helping the US during the revolution.'" He states jokingly as he hops back on the island.
"Orb, Wonder, or Live one of you guys is up." He states calmly, but on the inside he's annoyed at how long this is taking. "I miss anything good?" He ask trying to get caught up on the conversation with the others. "I'm sure you were all chatting about how great it is to live with an actual celebrity like me." He smiles relaxing a bit as he grabs his beer bottle. "Just so you know we are the same as you commoners, so don't be intimidated by my presence its okay to approach me, just no flash photography." He winks at Highlight playfully, really enjoying her company he's missed being with someone, conversing and playing around. He didn't have any real friends anymore they all either walked away when he hit rock bottom, or left cause he got clean. It also helps that she's the most beautiful woman he knows, "Slow down Alex, we are just friends." he reminds himself.

"Hey!" Sharna says in an offended manner and hits Alex on the arm harder, but not maliciously, for his belly comment. "You don't say that to a woman! You're lucky I still like you, or you'd be in trouble mister!" She scolds, but she can't help the smirk on her face from the back and forth banter they have going. "I do better than you. You could barely lift your own body weight, I don't blame you with that frame." She shakes her head in mock disapproval. She drops the act for a moment as they talk about Ruby. "I understand that, her family are counting on her to do good. But I hope she will realise that we're all here to support one another, not shut each other down."
Sharna raises a disbelieving eyebrow when he says he's fine in the most unconvincing tone she's heard. Even if it was, she's grown to know whenever he's lying about something like this so others wouldn't worry. Before she could call him out on it, Katie comes back and Alex jumps at the chance for his interview, preventing Sharna from finding out how he really feels. She lets it go and decides to talk about it to him more privately. She talks with the others until he returns and can't help but laugh in amusement at his egotistical comments. "You're such a dork. Yes, we have been talking alllll about you. Mostly to do with the spacing problem with fitting your entire ego inside the mansion, we all agreed we may just have to deflate it down to a bitesize." She smirks as she teases him. She's always took playful jabs at him whenever he makes a big headed comment. Still, she's enjoying this. It's nice to see there's no hard feelings from the past and the two can get along as they always have. Sharna feels content to know she has a friend in here, never truly feeling alone.

Katie spends the rest of her time getting Orbit, Wonderland and Livewire through their interviews. She almost never tires and her attire still remains immaculate and her voice shows no hint of exhaustion. People would mistaken her to be a machine. "Mr. McCree would like to thank you for your time." Katie says, looking up at those remaining in the kitchen. "And I thank you all for being patient and polite." She skips the part of Ruby's outburst, she just wants to forget it. But knowing the media, they will put hers on a pedestal...
----
Only a half hour later, all the MeChips on the heroes' person start to notify that a broadcast is available. Once again, Lyndall Stratus and Arthur Kendrick stand side by side one another with a holographic screen behind them.
"Good evening Millennial City and welcome back to Top Class! We're here to give you latest on our new Infinity League! What do you think of this, Lyndall?" Arthur turns to his co-host. "Well I'm ready to see what our team of Heroes had to say for themselves. That's right, we were given an exclusive look into What's Hot! And their interview with the group. The full article will be published tomorrow along with all the video footage. But, we have our first look into it today, I'm rather excited about this one." Lyndall says with quite a mischievous smirk.
Arthur continues after her. "We got Crescendo's inspiring story of living during the Golden Dawn Party, Highlight's raw and honest answers to questions we have all been asking, an explosive moment where Ruby came very close to suffering an assault charge, Matrix tried her best to get her message clear. Alex and his side on the drugs. Plus many, many more. Let's begin."
"One of our favourite interviews right at this moment is Ruby." Arthur begins. "This girl as she usually is, answered the questions in the most difficult way possible. Her smug attitude and defensive answers not only make her look like she has a superiority complex, but she is also insecure about herself. She said the heroes should be the one honoured in her presence rather she should be the one honoured. With her lack of commendable actions except her volatile personality, she doesn't really have any significant feats about her career, so is she getting aggressive with this innocent enough question simply because she is intimidated by the larger heroes in the mansion? I would say yes, most certainly. Her attitude has already rubbed off some heroes in the wrong way." several clips play on the screen.
Crescendo: "As for someone that I'd need to maybe put some more work into to get along with, I'd guess Ruby would be the one."
Highlight: "I feel that Ruby should try to relax a little."
"Seems this girl is gonna be hard work."
"Mhmmm." Lyndall hums in agreement. "See I said before, I like this girl but she needs a lot of work. Check this out." The screen opens up to a moment in Ruby's interview.
The clip shows Ruby standing over her interviewer menacingly and spewing hateful curses and insults to the man while sparks dance on her palms. Katie then comes into view to demand she calms down. The clip ends.
"If you ask me, I think her handler just saved that interviewer's health and Ruby a lawsuit. She openly threatened the man and her powers began acting out due to her anger... Or perhaps she did it on purpose? However it happened, she will claim a lot of publicity, boosting the audience watching her, so it was a stunt with both pros and cons. She then ended the interview by telling her audience and I quote, 'Fuck you.' Not only is she showing that she isn't in control of her powers, but that her temper is a ticking time bomb with absolutely no wit, just pure angsty tantrums. She could be a major liability to her group... Somebody should have took my advice..." She smirks at the camera as if looking right at Ruby. "She's also mostly bark and no bite, check this." a clip plays where Ruby face fills with Terror and sputters her words at the sight of the ghost in the kitchen, just before cowering into Highlight. There's also a clip showing where Ruby asks Matrix rather bluntly what is wrong with her, it also looks like she was far more rude about it than intended while Matrix looks vulnerable and upset. It looks like a classic scene of a playground bully. "I think this girl have probably bitten off more than she can chew when coming onto this, already making terrible decisions due to her inpatient personality. Perhaps she will recover, if she is as hardened as I hope she is. I wouldn't want to see her crash and burn before things get interesting."
"We can only hope, Lyndall." Arthur says and moves on. "Next we have Crescendo, the mysterious newcomer who has now openly talked about his story. I can already tell this guy's interview will be a sensation in the public light. He has such inspiring words to say, such as this." The screen brings up a clip from his interview.
"I have to admit, it's one of things I missed the most as my time as a musician. Seeing new people was always exciting for me growing up. Listening to the stories from around the world while I played. So, I have to say I'm looking forward to getting to know the people here."
"How can words like that not make you smile? He spoke of his struggle living in Greece. My words won't do it justice, here's the piece."
"Well to understand why I am where I am now, you have to hear how it started. You may know this already but I grew up an orphan during the rise of the Golden Dawn party in Greece. The only thing that the people at the orphanage said that was with me was the stone on my necklace." He says before removing it to show the camera orb. "The rune engraved onto it means protection. So I guess my parents were hoping it would keep me safe. Fast forward a few years and a drunken man burns down the orphanage. Not many of my friends made it out of the fire...It was that night that I learned I had my power, I screamed and he collapsed. A little while later I learned I could manipulate sound so much that I could replicate a song without instruments. I got by on being a musician for a few years until the Greek government started pushing people like me away. My parents came from Romania so I was fair game to them." He lowered his gaze thinking of the mass exodus. "They started forcing anyone who wasn't them out of the country. They said they did so in a nonlethal way but...not all of the bullets they fired were rubber." He looked back up at the reporter with a slight smile. "Then Francesca found me and took me in. She taught me how to control my power and use it to protect people. After seeing things like what the Golden Dawn party did to me, I never want to let someone else to go through that. That's why I've decided on this path. If I can save even one person from having to go through what I did then I'm happy."
"If you don't like him, you have at least gotta respect him for everything he has been through. He ended the interview with the words 'Do not pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.' I can see why people love this guy. Humble, driven and doesn't let his past hold him back. Anything you would like to add, Lyndall?"
"Indeed." She says. "I respect this man for the fact he can talk easily about his past without sounding like he's whining about it. However, he could probably not milk every word he says into sounding like he's a philosophical maniac. We get it, you have a lot of wisdom from your experiences but don't make every little thing a life lesson. Other than that, he's okay in my book."
"Let's move onto our next person. The fan favourite, Matrix." Arthur says. Lyndall visibly rolls her eyes at this. "Matrix once again, will melt everybody's hearts. Here's some snippets of her interview." The screen shows several clips of Matrix. Some appeared to be edited together.
"Heroes save lives. Honour doesn't...factor. Fame...no. Secondary. Boring."
"Highlight. She was nice. "Be nice if she liked me. Maybe it...would be fun. To mutually...like."
"Easy to travel through network. Hard to walk. Exhausting. Better with Mom though."
Matrix looks into the camera as she speaks. "Hi... Nice meeting you all."
"She tries her very hardest to to get points across. Justice over fame, Hoping for a friendship with one of the best, Highlight, and missing the company of her mother. This girl is melting the hearts of the world, and she may just get her wish about Highlight with this clip." Arthur says as a piece from Highlight's interview comes up.
"I hope me and her can get along, I just have this... Instinct to look out for her, like she's my little sister. It's very rare for a sibling like bond to develop in such a short span of time, that makes me sure that there's something about this girl that will make people appeal to her quickly."
"Oh save me the mush." Lyndall says sarcastically. "There are thousands of people with disabilities that give them the social skills of a potato out there, nobody gives them sympathy when they cross paths, they don't even give them the decency of eye contact. What I'm asking is, what makes this girl so special? She has the mind set of a child and that's what makes her soooo popular and cute, because she speaks in broken sentences and looks confused all the time? Pitying her, basically. Pity only gets you so far." Lyndall makes it sound like she actually personally dislikes Matrix as a person and not just acting a part. Either she's a great actor or genuinely looks down on Matrix. "However..." She adds after a small pause. "She really warms up to people with the whole sympathy act. I have a clip for the fans at home to enjoy." The clip shows a very nervous Matrix talking to her Handler, Katie Faxton. The taller woman gives Matrix a pair of headphones, explaining where her mother informed about her love for music and how it helps her when she's stressed. The handler's words are incredibly warm and kind, calling her by her first name instead of a Monikor. When Katie left and Matrix uses the headphones, she visibly relaxes and looks like she reached a state of zen. She seemed at total peace as the minutes went by and Katie returned, informing that it is her turn for the interview. The clip ends.
"Whatever my feelings are for this girl, I actually like this moment and dare say, it's one of my favourites of the day. We all need a moment to escape the world sometimes." Lyndall says in a matter of fact way, her tone lacks the warmth anybody else talks about Matrix with, including Arthur.
"Heh... Let's move on before you get too into it, Lyndall." He smiles knowingly, used to her very harsh criticisms. "Let's move onto Highlight. The powerhouse open herself up and shared everything with heartfelt honesty. She answered many questions that people were wondering such as her break up with Alex, the conflicts between justice and self image. She really made people think deeply about these subjects. Let's begin with the possible love triangle between her, Orbit and Alex." Arthur turns to the screen, some parts have been cut out.
"Dylan seems like a wonderful guy and very humble, I'm very much looking forward to getting to know him better, whatever the outcome is. Who knows? Anything can happen."
"There's no bad blood between me and Alex, I am going to put what happened behind us and move on. It's great to see him doing so well and I'm happy for him. I hope something comes out of this, we share too much history to ignore."
"It seems the colourful heartthrob is keeping her options wide open. Notice how she used their real names over Monikers, showing affection for them as a person rather than a hero. The smiles that creep in when she talks about them. Highlight rarely shows interest in people and I think these two are very lucky. Question is, who will win the young heroin's heart? Now onto her deep talk about fame and justice.
"When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a hero. I had a huge collection of posters of my favourite heroes and everything. I always had a sense of justice back then and I feel I still do now. One of the most argued problems with a career in heroics is that the differences between self image and justice gets very blurry. Heroes halfway into their career start to think self image and justice become the same thing and as long as they're still in the spotlight of the media, then they're doing the right thing for justice. I admit, I fell into this state before. I started to fool myself into thinking that I must be all about justice if the media are paying attention to me... I guess you could say I lost my way. Denise, better known as Ice Queen to the media, scolded me for this and said I shouldn't fall into this mind set, it causes an obsession."
She sighs a little. "I'm not perfect, but I would like to believe that I'm making choices that are more in line the morality and justice I started with as well as keeping my image in a good light. Sometimes I believe there should be a balance, too much focus on one or the other can make somebody a fame hungry narcissist or a vigilante who will do everything to uphold 'justice', even break the law and fighting heroes that they believe aren't on the right path. I hope that I'm doing my best to avoid falling into either category."
"I have to say, she admitted her faults and took it like a champ." Lyndall comments. "For a moment, I thought she would spin some elaborate story that would dodge the question. I'm not a fan of the pretty pinky sparkler, but I have to give her some respect for that speech." Arthur feigns surprise. "Lyndall! Sounds like you don't have a bad thing to say about her!" Lyndall just smiles devilishly. "Oh I will soon... She ended the interview thanking her fans and reminding them why they are so important to her."
"Hi guys! It's always great to talk to you. I just wanna thank you for this opportunity because while I have worked hard for to get here, all of it would have been for nothing if you didn't support me. I'm very much looking forward to taking this journey with you." She finishes with a wave, clearly loving her audience.
"You can see why people love her charm." Arthur comments admiringly.
"Let's head over to Orbit." Lyndall continues. "Highlight isn't the only one who is being honest about their feelings. Let's watch." Orbit's interview appears on the screen. Same as Highlight, some parts are cut out.
Well, Highlight is a fun person to be around, I do look forward to talking to her more though, she seems really interesting, and I have no problem with fans shipping us!"
"Looks like these two are already sharing a mutual like towards one another. Could we be having our first showmance of the show? I do hope so! Popular trend for those two is #OrbLight." Lyndall inadvertently blurts out a laugh. "Sorry... It's just that ship names always sound so stupid... But moving on, he also talks about his research into his powers."
"Well, I have to say that juggling two jobs, no matter what they are, is always difficult. However, both sides aid me in the other. For example, as a researcher I discover new ways to use gravity and how it works. That helps me in being a hero using my abilities. As you can see from that example, both help the other. Now at first, I was nervous about my powers. At first it was the immense strength of literally controlling gravity, and also trying to set my abilities different from the Hero of the Devoid. Later on in my career I became more confident in my abilities, and skilled at them as well. I wouldn't have my jobs or my powers any other way. They've become a part of my day-to-day life now."
"Sounds like a made scientist to me." Lyndall says with a smirk. "Whether his research will prove to help or hinder? We will see... His interview ends with a rather cheerful and go lucky message to his audience. For a nerd, he's rather energetic."
"There's a few things I want to say to you fans. Thanks for taking an interest in me, and I want you guys to know that I have seen many of your posts about me on so many times of social media! Some of you guys have made fan art, shipnames, and just over all nice comments. Now, I hope you guys and girls enjoy the show, and have a good day!" He ends it with a smile and a wave.
"What about the third lovebird, Arthur?" Lyndall asks, done talking about Orbit. "Well Lyndall, he had a few things to clear up about our recent observations." A quick clip plays of Alex's interview.
"I want to clear a few things up first though. It seems are ace reporters Arthur, and Lyndall think I gave Jeremy as a gift to Highlight which simply isn't true. The little guy simply adores most people, and hasn't seen her in forever."
"Well thank you for clearing that up, Alex! For a moment there, we were beginning to think you were getting a little desperate for her." Lyndall adds quite sarcastically but gives a good natured smile. Whether it's fake or not is hard to tell. "But he did have something to talk about when it came to his former flame." another edited clip appears.
"I just want to be able to see my friends again. My parents died out in the Fringes years ago, I don't have much so I just want to keep what I have. If we do become more I'd love that...,but like I said its her choice. But I mean come on who else would she pick, I'm totally the best choice here."
"Bit confident there, Alex! Well me and Lyndall we'll be rooting for you in the corner!" Arthur says in usual optimism. "Yeah sure, especially after you played the sympathy card so well." Lyndall adds, as sarcastic as ever. "But let's get to his personal story, his Road to recovery from his addiction to drugs. He was asked what it felt like when he was clean, let's hear it." a clip displays.
"'I can't keep doing this.' That's what went through my head." He leans forward a bit making things a bit more intimate. "Every moment of every day, deep in the back of my mind I think. 'Wow this would be so much better if I was high.' You can't escape it. Its always there crawling at your brain. Even mundane things like cleaning your room, is amazing when you are like I was." He sighs pulling his shaking hands from his pockets presenting them to Richard. "Look at these, I'm an artist my hands are the most important thing in the world to me, and they do this without warning. Imagine getting the flu randomly through out the week, while your hands shake violently, you have nosebleeds, and theres a voice screaming at you picking apart all of your insecurities." He puts his hands back in his pockets, sighs and leans back. "And the worst part is, its so easy to feel better. You just need one little pill, and you're back to normal." He looks at Rich with a sad seriousness. "That's what its like being drug free. Its the worst, best thing I've ever done."
"I'm proud of him." Lyndall says, actually genuine this time. "Kicking a drug habit? I wouldn't wanna go through that, and this raw and honest reveal about his experience is well... Something special. Good for you, Alex." Arthur jumps in. "We're all behind you, pal! Now let's hear his last words for his audience." The last clip plays.
"Just don't let others control your life. People come and go, but you'll always be there." He laughs out loud embarrassed. "Oh my God I can't believe I just said that."
"I like that. The humbleness in that laugh of embarrassment reminds you that these celebrities are still human beings like the rest of it." Arthur says.
"Now we got that mushy bull of a love triangle outta the way, let's get onto Livewire, the wannabe!" Arthur begins. "We all wanna hear this guy's big story about his time as a villain right? Well prepare to be disappointed! He refused to talk about it!" as if prompted, a single clip plays on Livewire.
"That's a story I cannot tell."
"Typical." Lyndall says with an eye roll. "Of course he doesn't wanna talk about it. He must be using the excuse of 'it brings bad memories'. Dude, you said you wanted redemption, yet you refuse to talk about why you want it? Booooooooring! Clearly, the guy is just some broody, Static Shock wannabe who obviously can't face his demons... Don't be disappointed too much, folks. We got something for you. Remember when Night Terror threatened Livewire? Here's his response."
"Well to me he a loopie hero wanting to confronting the villain who's change his own ways. If he really wants to get into to it I wouldn't mind showing him how it goes down in the Fringes."
"Is that a challenge, Arthur?" She asks her co-host. "You're damn right it is, Lyndall! We have our first rivalry! What will happen when they need to depend on each other in a mission? They could end up dragging the team down with their personal issues!" They seem to have deliberately left out Livewire's message to the audience, clearly thinking he didn't make his interview interesting enough to add it.
"What did Night Terror think of this you may ask?" Lyndall says to keep it going. "Nothing. He refused an interview. What's this guy hiding? He's breaking rules already, threatening people he will work with and now refuses to back any of his actions up with an interview. He screams 'look at me! Broody ass seeker of justice!' and it's not a good look. Highlight earlier gave an example that people falling too far into one category makes them lawless and dangerous vigilantes. This guy might be a prime example of that kind of sociopath. Get with it, mate. Nobody thinks you're a badass Batman. You're as angsty as Ruby, just less loud."
"Onto our final team member. Wonderland." Arthur says. "Remember our last review? We said this girl is batshit crazy! I still stick by it! Look at this!" Wonderland's interview comes onto the screen. Segments are out of context to make her sound insane.
"Harvey says that if everyone here is as powerful as me they won't be scared of me! I also want to use my power to help people by giving bad people nasty dreams."
"Music-Man! He played my favourite song for me and he was talking to the air like Smiley says I used to."
"Definitely should be shipped to a crazy house." Lyndall adds snarkily. "And who is Harvey? Some crazy ass person she made up? The voices in her head? Ever heard of BMS people? You might just be looking at somebody who has it." Arthur interrupts. "Slow down Lyndall, that's a huge accusation. Let's look further." The screen comes back on.
"I used to have lots of friends but Smiley says some were real and some weren't and the more time I spent with the ones he said are real the more they could see my friends who weren't and I thought that was good but it was bad because it made them upset and angry... My brother; Gooey tried to hurt me because he thought I was an elephant and then mum went into a dream that never ended. I got sent to the Home and I met Smiley who helped me understand that I mustn't touch people and which friends are real and which aren't so all my not-real friends disappeared and my real friends all ended up in Homes. The only people who stayed with me were Smiley and later on Harvey."
"This confession makes it clear what is wrong with the girl. She is one of the rare cases where a hero is a victim of their own powers.. With the power to induce hallucinations, the toll has took an effect on herself and her family. You can't help but pity the girl." Arthur finishes, but Lyndall jumps in "But is she really suited for this? She could end up destroying the team like she did to her family. Listen to this ending message."
"Um hi I can't see you but Smiley say you're all real. I haven't been outside of the Home in a while so sorry if I make mistakes but I hope we can get along." She seemingly listens to the air for a couple of seconds. "And Harvey says that if there are any 'banging babes' out there they should send him their... HARVEY!" She exclaims in a scandalised voice her face turning red.
"Fucking. Crazy. This Harvey character is basically a sleazeball personality that she will probably use to excuse herself from stupid decisions. My advice? Get rid of her, or dose her up to the point where Harvey doesn't exist anymore."
"That's all for today, Millennial City!" Arthur wraps things up. "The full interviews and recordings will be up on What's Hot!'s website and printed on their magazine tomorrow, be sure to check it out! Let us know what you think of these confessions."
"Until next time." Lyndall says with her signature half smile. "Stay safe, Millennial City!"
The broadcast ends.

Alice didn't like firey-girl she'd been mean to glowy-girl and after the interviews with the nice reporter-man Colours had run away followed by Speedy. She was left in the kitchen snacking on all the funny foods. They didn't get this stuff in the Home it was fancy; the cheese tasted of hot baths, the bread was like a bouncy castle but for some reason the meat tasted of despair. As Music-Man walked past the door and asked his question she said. "I don't know, can I come and look around with you? I haven't seen much of this new place yet and Harvey wants to know if there's a hot tub."

Quinn watched the broadcast his face completely blank. The he very carefully went outside into the garden and punched a tree. Massaging his bruised fist he stared at the tree gathering his thoughts. It was ok they'd been expecting this the media wasn't kind and Alice was always going to be considered different even dangerous he just hadn't expected it would hurt him this much. He doubted she would even care compared to what she'd been through this was nothing and she only vaguely understood the concept of the media anyway. He went back into the house and sat down in a comfy chair in the lounge quietly meditating with his eyes shut. He'd hang around a bit longer just in case of emergencies but then he'd need to go home and let Alice cope by herself. Even with Alex there to help look out for her he would still probably be awake all night from worry.

"Certainly, it'd be nice to have some company." Darrius was glad to have someone join him in his exploration of the mansion. "I can play some more songs for you if you'd like." He said with a smile. Out of all of his new acquaintances so far she seemed the most interesting. He had met crazy people before and enjoyed their stories very much but none were like her. They didn't have other voices speaking to them. "By the way, when did you meet Harvey?"

"Oooooooh can you play any Celo Green? He's Smiley's favorite." Says Alice as she follows him out of the kitchen. "When did I meet Harvey? Ummmmmmmm it was a a month after my fourteenth birthday he visited me in the Home he played games with me even though all my non-real friends were gone! On my 16th birthday Smiley baked me a cake and we ate it together and that night Harvey told me he loved me and we've been together ever since." She smiled at him. "You were talking to your power before, does it talk back?"

"As you wish, Alice." He says and with a flick of his wrist the soft sounds of Celo Green's Crazy begins to play. He walks down the hallway with his hands held behind his back. He was dying to get out of his suit, but as he had been taught by Francesca, it is best to dress to impress. He listened intently to her story about how she first began hearing this Harvey. Again, she brings up his speaking to Fromus and Ielele. He grimaced but pressed forward. "Well, in that instance I was just thinking out loud. Though, I do have something to show you if you're interested." He said as Fromus and Ielele exchanged looks with one another.

Alice tilted her head to one side. Harvey looked worried but music-man seemed nice and she wanted to know what other tricks he had. "Is it another special-power? Like the invisible music?"

He chuckled slightly and nodded. "Its something like that." His spirits look at him just to be sure before shifting into their usual human form. Fromus appears to Darrius as a tall, muscle bound man with a thick brown beard. Whereas Ielele appears as a woman shrouded in mist. Fromus bows while Ielele curtsies. All of this is visible only to Darrius, however when they speak it isn't only to their host. Fromus' voice is deep and raspy whilst Ielele's is quiet and higher pitched. The two speak in unison, "Its a pleasure to meet you, Alice."

Alice gasped with delight. "You hear them too right? I'm not hearing not-reals again? It's a pleasure to meet you too Mr and Mrs Invisible! Can music-man see you? What's it like being invisible?" Alice rattled off questions like a broken fax while Harvey stared at Darrius nervously biting his lip.

Both Ielele and Fromus chuckle in response to her questioning. Darrius wears a warm smile while watching this display. Ielele smiles and replies, "Yes, my dear we're very much real. My name is Ielele and my partner is Fromus, we are companions of Darrius." Fromus took the next question, "Darrius can see us, aye. As for being invisible, it's not too bad. We've been with Darrius or as you call him, the music man since he was a child. We're bound to him."

Alice looks confused. "Bound... like love? Harvey says that's why he's always with me."

Fromus shook his head,"While we both do love Darrius it is not the reason that we are bound to him. Myself and Ielele do not have our own bodies, we cannot affect the world the way that you can. We can roam wherever we like but in the end only he can see us so we stick by his side." Ielele looked over the new girl with curiosity. "We don't really know how or why we exist but we do. You're one of the few people that he has allowed us to speak to."

Alice smiles. "Well I am very happy to meet you Miss and Mr Invisible. She cocks her head for a second as Harvey says something scandalous as usual, although... she doesn't feel his heart is in it as much as it normally is. "Ummmm I'm sorry Miss Invisible Harvey wants to know if, uh, if you're pretty." Alice asked blushing red as a beetroot.

Sharna rubs the back of her neck awkwardly as she watches the broadcast. Of course, Lyndall cruelly attacks almost all of the heroes, she honest and speaks the minds for one side of the audience, but it's almost like she enjoys doing this... Then there was her part. She was very careful with her words about Alex and Dylan, but they still managed to twist them and start to form this as a love triangle showmance. They did the same with Alex and Dylan's opinions on her, though she did enjoy hearing the nice words the latter had to say about her. She tries her best to suppress a smile.
However, she should clear the air with Orbit. She doesn't want them to be awkward around each other and the sooner they have a one on one talk about it, the better they will feel about it. She has a feeling Alex already understands that she only seeks a friend in him, she hopes that the feeling is mutual on his side too. She approaches Orbit, still having the confidence she had since she first entered the mansion. "Can I talk to you? Privately? I'll leave my door open." She says to him with a reassuring smile, trying to make him feel less awkward about all of this showmance stuff.
She leaves for her room in a flash of colour. She makes sure her door is cracked open just a tad and keeps camera access off. She knows that this would be a huge boost in her favour if she did let this get on camera, but she doesn't want to use Orbit for her own fame. She genuinely wants to make sure he's comfortable without the whole world watching that they're going to discuss. She heads into her bathroom to splash some water on her face, take a few deep breaths and calm her nerves. "Come on, Sharna." She says to herself quietly, looking at herself in the mirror. "You've been through tougher things. You got thick skin. You got a charming aura. You're Highlight for goodness sake! This is nothing compared to what you've been through, it's easy..." She keeps reassuring herself, hoping Orbit will accept her request.

Ielele looked at the blushing girl then to Darrius, she raises a brow. "Well Darrius? Am I pretty?" It was Darrius' turn to blush. He looked away from her to Alice. "She is beautiful." He searched desperately for a different topic. "Anyway, what is Harvey like?"

Harvey grinned from the corner and said. "Huh wonder if I can somehow get to there part of invisible town..." Alice rolled her eyes. "Harvey's very sweet but he can be... naughty. Smiley told me to stop telling the nurse's Harvey's questions because they kept giggling too much to work. He always looks after me though and he's the only person who can touch me and I don't have to try not too give bad dreams. Harvey says he doesn't dream but if he did they would be off me!" Harvey laughs "Oh the things we'd do in my dreams..."

"Really? That's exactly the way Ielele is too. She is the absolute worst to have around when you're trying to be serious." Ielele crossed her arms and poured, "No I'm not." Darrius shrugs but otherwise doesn't respond to her. "I think Harvey and her would get along quite well. But what do you mean that he's the only one who can touch you?"

Once she'd cleared her mind a bit through her travels of the Interweb, she started to remember that perhaps she should be heading back to the mansion; staying out too long for a while may not be the best for everyone else. But regardless of her reasoning, she should probably start heading back now rather than later. It was times like this that she felt like the proverbial drop in the gigantic ocean, but as she began to travel back the way she came through the vastness of the Interweb, it struck her that unlike the proverbial drop, she knew exactly where she was going. She often did; she often knew exactly where to go and what to do, the correct way to go coming naturally as if she could see the way to her destination from above. Despite the fact that technically, there was no 'above' in the Interweb, but it was a metaphorical concept, she mused as she re-entered the mansion system and entered the surveillance systems, travelling along the various avenues to reach a camera in her room to make sure she was alone. Mom had always told her that it was the equivalent to looking both ways before she crossed the street, just to make sure that she didn't get hurt, but it was something she did routinely now. When she accessed the security camera in her room, she would have furrowed her eyebrows in confusion if she had any at the sight before her, Ruby casually standing in her room, having left the door wide open and looking around inquisitively.
She liked that Mom was so smart, a lot of the time. But she didn't know why Ruby was here. And she didn't knock. Even if she had, she wouldn't have registered it, but if you don't hear a knock, you don't come in, correct? That's what Mom had always said. It seems Ruby didn't have a Mom that told her such things, even though she didn't understand why her Mom wouldn't do that. But either way, she didn't like it. It made her extremely uncomfortable. Focusing, she backed out of the surveillance systems and headed into the entertainment systems, passing from room to room until she found the large plasma-television in her room, fixed relatively high up against the wall and several feet on Ruby's left as she stood a few feet from the door. Relatively high up, but not even close to too high. Integrating herself with the television and focusing, she saw the colour green start to encompass everything swiftly for a split second until she forcefully propelled herself from the television, feeling herself fall several feet until she landed on the floor of her room, as casually as if she had merely jumped off a two-foot ledge.
Stepping forwards once to get a feel for her motor movement again, she raised her left arm absently to note the glowing of her skin rapidly subside, the PCB patterns swiftly abating a few seconds later. Breathing a single deep breath, her eyes remained fixed on her arm, continuing to study it as if the interesting patterns still remained, seemingly not registering the girl's presence in her room at all, remaining oblivious to her reaction to her sudden appearance.
"You didn't knock." She spoke up, her voice sounding daydreamy and absent but also, remembering the conversation she had with the guards earlier, distinctly less patient than usual. "People here don't knock." she added, before shaking her head sharply and continuously, clenching and unclenching her fist to provide stimulation.
"Mom would be mad." she mumbled, her voice significantly more wistful than before.

Dylan watched the broadcast, with Darla making many, many, teases at the parts they used to make it seem like a love triangle between him, Sharna, and Alex. He began to blush, before Sharna walked in, and told him to meet her in her room. Her smile seemed to reassure him, although he wasn't really sure what he was being reassured of. Before he could respond, however, she ran off. Dylan scratched his neck, before walking to her room.
As she said, the door was left open a bit. Dylan opened the door slightly, to see Sharna in the bathroom. He stood for a moment, unsure of what he should do right now, but he eventually decided to walk in. While there was still some awkwardness in the air, Dylan spoke calmly (well, as much as he could). "So what did you want to talk about?"

Alice's face fell. "My powers they... give people dreams but not when they're asleep and sometimes the dreams are scary and never go away. If I touch them too much sometimes they go to sleep and never wake up like mum. I'm better now I can touch people but I have to focus really hard not to give them dreams that's why I wear these." She held up her hands to show her gloves. "But Harvey I can touch and nothing happens! It's almost like his mind's not there." "You calling me stupid?!" Interrupted Harvey causing Alice to giggle. "No silly." She turned back to Darrius. "Smiley says one day I might get so good at focusing I don't have to think about it anymore! Then I can touch whoever I like!" Harvey sniggered from the corner. "Only if I get to watch ladybug."

"Really? Hmm, you know I think I may have a way to help you practice. You could try practicing on mice and after awhile you're bound to get better at controlling your powers." The duo continued their walk down the hall. After a few more moments they find the gym. A spacious room with workout equipment of all kinds. "Ah, this will do nicely. Do you train often Alice? I wouldn't mind having you spot for me."

Alice frowned slightly. "Maybe but I'd try to give them nice dreams otherwise it'd be cruel." Arriving in the gym she looked around smiling. "Wow it's super big! Smiley started taking me to the gym a couple of years ago and Scarface trained me with a staff like Gandalf's but metal although he had to wear rubber-knight armour so he wouldn't get dreams Harvey said it made him look like a gimp which I think it is like an orc?" Her brows knit together. "But I've already spotted you your right here, aren't you?"

"Ah, so you have had some form of training then. Good that will probably come in handy whe-" It was about at this point that he realized what she just said. He stared at her incredulously. Did she just call a gimp an orc? It was Ielele who broke the silence first. "Oh that tears it. If you won't ask it Darrius, then I will." She steps right up to Alice, "You simply have to tell me just how you became so adorable." Fromus rolled his eyes at Ielele's theatrics. He turned to Darrius, "Thinks it's about time we get to work. A quick spar should be enough to get back into the swing of things. Besides, you look far too proper in that suit. People are gonna start thinking you're a silver spoon brat with it on." He said in his gruff tone.
Darrius grinned, happy for an excuse to get out of the blasted thing. He quickly unbuttoned his shirt and tossed it aside, quickly followed by his dress shoes until he was standing in the centre of the gym in just his trousers. It wasn't visible before but his body didn't seem to have an ounce of fat on it, just lean muscle. He did a few stretches before beginning to circle around Fromus with his fists raised.

"I don't know... how did Music-man become nice or Firey-girl angry?" As he took his shirt off Alice turned bright red again and looked at the floor, she'd seen Scarface and Harvey without their shirts but Scarface was old and Harvey was... Harvey. Music-man was walking around fighting someone, probably one of the Invisibles? Harvey put his chin on her should and muttered. "Not that impressive... stupid gym addict... I'd show him." And other similar grumblings which Alice tried to ignore as she watched Music-man fight trying to work out the shape of the Invisible he was fighting.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You fucking loser. The voice laughs, it continues to take Alex apart piece by piece. She's so happy about how you're doing, but look at Orbit isn't he so fucking sexy? So god damn wonderful, oh and so humble. Alex tries to blurt something out, but his words get caught in his throat as Sharna walks over to Orbit. Oh they are going upstairs now, that was fast think she's a screamer? Alex swears he feels a cold hand crawl up his back and rest gently on his shoulder, he looks but no one is there, before he can react Highlight is gone, he stares a hole through Orbit, as he finishes his drink daring him to say something. Though nothing happens a moment later he follows her up to her room. Alex jumps off the island and rips the fridge door open, grabbing the remnants of his first six pack, and a fresh one he marches off to his room.
Ignoring everyone and everything he slams his down behind him. If only we could be a fly on the wall.. The voice trails off knowing full well Alex had a friend or two that could spy for them. "No! I'm not going to," Don't you want to know whats going on? Aren't you the least bit curious? Whatever they do they are going to do it regardless of if you know or not. You might as well know, and she if she lies to you about it. What's wrong in knowing? It always makes sense in the end, the voice is always right. This is what he wants and how he feels he may as well do it. "Ok." He answers back monotone, as if all life has been zapped out of him. Flipping through a different sketch book he finds the concept art to two little bugs, one named R3C and the other PL4Y. R3C looked like an old 2004 SONY FX-1E HDV camcorder, with six legs and a set of wings on the side. PL4Y on the other hand looked like a scarab beetle, but when he opened his wings it projected whatever R3C was looking out, the upper part of his wings also doubled as speakers. "You know what to do." He says to R3C as the little bug flies off as Alex opens his door slightly and then closes it instantly. PL4Y begins to project R3C's vision onto the wall over where Alex started his drawing, he lays in his bed and starts drinking, and he keeps drinking with no sign of stopping. With luck R3C flies into the room unnoticed and sticks itself to a corner of the room that has most shadow. The feed is live and Orbit has just started talking to Sharna, she is standing in the bathroom, Alex's stomach drops at the scene unable to look away. This will be fun. Enjoy the show kid you earned it. I mean look at all that charisma that guy has, you never had a chance. For once the voice attacks someone other than Alex it feels goo to not be on the receiving end of it all.
(Meanwhile)
Jeremy screams the unholy scream of a frightened cat as this other girl materializes near him. Since he is a cat after all he makes a break for it, even making Highlight look slow in the process. He runs back to Alex's room, but the door is shut he begins scratching and meowing to be let in to no avail. After a few moments he gives up and curls into a ball waiting for someone to let him in

"Well I can probably answer how Music man became nice if you're up for a story." Said Ielele as she watched the two men square off against one another. She sighs, "He's engaged in it now." She says with a hint of sadness creeping into her voice. It was true though, the smiling and laughing Darrius was nowhere to be seen. Instead in his place resided a wild animal just waiting to be let loose.
A low rumbling growl sounded in the back of his throat. This unnerved opponents on occasion but more importantly this constant sound allowed him to pinpoint exactly where his target was. His attention was focused on the shoulders as he paced around his spirit. Then as if some unheard siren had sounded both men bolted at one another. Instead of passing through thin air as it looked would happen, he slammed into an invisible wall. Time seemed to slow as he brought his left hand down on Fromus' wrist. The blade that the spirit had been holding left his now numbed hand to land mutely on the ground. Within the same motion Darrius delivered a brutal kick to his attacker's groin. To finish the set the young Greek delivered a punch to the big man's throat. Fromus fell back gasping and reaching towards his throat. He landed with a thud. The entire confrontation lasted maybe three seconds. "I think you're getting slow old man." Laughed Darrius as he reached down and pulled his spirit up. Whatever wounds he had suffered faded almost instantly. "Bah, it's not that I'm getting slow. It's that you're getting to bloody fast. Seems Krav Maga suits you." Darrius turns to Alice, a grin plastered on his face. "What do you think? Think I'll be a good fit for the team?"

Sharna steps out of the bathroom and smiles a little at Orbit, it's a bit of a nervous one, even her awesome Charisma is failing her a little, making her seem like an awkward school girl. "Hey erm... I just wanted to say I'm sorry about the media, it always cuts out and edits bits and pieces to make it look like something far more interesting." She begins, sighing a little. "I did say those things about you, but what they didn't include me saying was that I'm not expecting anything and it's much too soon to ask. Seriously, so far I think you're a really cool guy. But, I have had a habit for falling too fast before and it didn't work for me in the past." She says while biting her lip and fidgeting with her fingers, she is referring to Alex. "I just wanted to get this out there so things won't be always so awkward between us in the League, Dylan. I want you to feel comfortable around me." She finishes it all off with her classic smile. She feels that she got out what she wanted to get across to him, but she is still a little nervous. Why is she so worried if he says he isn't interested like that? Get a grip, Sharna...
