Another note, you don't have to have powers. You can choose to be a police officer, unpowered vigilante etc, private detective etc.

Name: John Reynolds Moniker: None as of yet Age: 30 Gender: M Birthplace: Sin City Height: 6"1 Build: Slightly overweight Hair: Black Eyes: Grey Scars/handicaps: None Distinguishing features: Smoking habit Dress: Suit and tie (think detective from almost any NY based police drama) Power Type: None Power Skills: None Skills: Brawling, decent marksmanship, very good at working the street for info etc. Training: Police training Education: Basic Relationship status: Divorced Job: Detective (gang-division) Goal: Clean-up the city Hardship: Not getting caught by Internal Affairs or the gangs Greatest Fear: Getting found out by the gangs Strongest Trait: Lying Weakest Trait: Courage Idioms: "Aw come on you know I'm on your side!" Self image: Ground down by the city until he couldn't take it anymore Reputation: A dirty cop who works for both sides of the law Sense of humour: Grim
Profile: Reynolds grew up in a tough neighbourhood but not the worst. He became a cop because his dad was a cop and his grandad was a cop and so on through the generations. Reynolds never particularly cared about the city though he worked his way up through the ranks by keeping his head down, looking the other way for the right price and dodging IA until he made detective. One day a gang payed him to cover up a crime scene and when he got there he found what was left of three women. It wasn't pretty but it was pretty clear what had been done to them before they died. He covered it up completely and proceeded to get very drunk. Staring into the bottom of his glass something snapped. Over the next month that gang either wound up dead or in jail for unrelated crimes. Of course Reynolds wouldn't know anything about that...

Power: Photographic Reflexes & Adomopathy
Power Skills:
- Can replicate any move perfectly after seeing it once to perfection, even down to subtle muscle movements
- Can predict the movements and styles of anybody after visual confirmation; her superhuman intuition can predict the next move of an opponent in a fight even before they make it, and can duplicate a person’s involuntary body language down to perfection after a single study; can learn intensely difficult skills and combat styles at once
- Her powers also afford her superhuman reflexes; can dodge a bullet at point-blank range and expertly throw and catch extremely fast-moving objects without looking
Skills:
- High intelligence

---
From a young age, Natalie was always scrappy and tough; she was academically bright, even more so than her peers, but still Natalie always loved being able to be tough and strong like her dad, whom she idolised for being in the Army. Always being involved in every type of sports she could from a young age, she was always the star player when she played football, rugby, even track; her natural athleticism and determination ensured that she was consistently a step above the rest, and always attempting to make her father proud, whom idolised her in turn as well and was always her biggest admirer, even though he was rarely able to watch her in action. She continued with such things even when her father was killed in action when she was 10, which broke her heart more than anything that had happened before or since. Continuing with her sports and starting a physical training regimen alongside her sports, she expressed a desire to go into the armed services as well from a young age, spurred on by the blessing and admiration of her parents, especially her father. Once she had graduated high school at 16 with top grades, she entered college but dropped out after a year despite her exemplary grades, desiring instead to become a soldier in the Army. During high school, she became best friends with a fellow student and later fell in love with her, finding a happiness and a purpose with her that she had previously thought lost.
Once she had joined at 17 and was sent to her first active war zone at 18, her natural athleticism, drive, and almost innate skill led to her ascending up the ranks relatively quickly, reaching Corporal at 22. Relishing the work and feeling like she was born to do it, she still desired to do all that she could to better herself, deciding to apply for SAS Special Forces, later being accepted and carrying out her role with resolve, enthusiasm, and skill, swiftly becoming both revered and adored by her colleagues and superiors. During this time, her relationship with her girlfriend continued despite the long distances, her girlfriend eventually gaining her medical degree from Cambridge University. Their relationship still going strong and finding a solace in each other that nobody else could replicate, they married at 25. After four years of exemplary service surpassing that of her peers, she was approached by her superiors to undergo a series of tests and experiments to improve and enhance herself, unlocking the capability to make her the perfect soldier, an opportunity she accepted. After undergoing the rigorous and extremely physically and mentally demanding tests, she found that her reflexes and intuition were enhanced exponentially, as well as her memory; she found she could replicate any action or series of actions, no matter how demanding or complex, after a single glance. These newfound powers allowed her to far surpass her peers in combat and reflexive actions and skills even more so than she had before, becoming almost revered.
Later, however, her newfound powers demonstrated severe side effects; after a few months, had passed, she noted that she could no longer remember how to carry out actions she had previously known how to do, and could no longer remember information that she had committed to memory, forgetting her wife’s birthday, and later, her name until it was retold to her. Her personality also started to shift; previously friendly, resolute, and enthusiastic, she began to grow distant, solitary, cold, and increasingly irritable, beginning to lash out over minor things and even demonstrate a marked lack of empathy in some areas. Quickly noting the damage, her superiors fitted her with an honourable discharge from the SAS and sent her home, getting her work in an executive sales company. Despite her and her wife previously attempting to try for a child, her memories continued to deteriorate as she learned new things, and she continued to grow cold and antisocial, almost becoming emotionally abusive to her wife and physically abusive to everyone around her before she was later arrested for aggravated assault, being convicted to six months in prison. Despite her wife continuing to attempt to support her after everything they’ve been through and the firm belief that the woman she fell in love with as a teenager was still present somewhere, she recognised that whatever was done to her was permanent for the time being and, once she was released from prison and put on probation, left her life behind to minimise any pain that she would cause in the future. Before she left, however, she used her contacts to clandestine passage into Europe and took her prized possession: a box filled with pictures that she had taken over the years from a young girl, to always remind herself of what she once had should she inevitably forget.
Arriving in Western Europe, she bounced around from city to city for just over a year before arriving in Sin City, a crime-ridden hellhole where the citizens lived in terror of everything that lurked around the corner; a place that the rest of the world had decided to leave alone no matter what happened due to the knowledge that the entire city was just too far-gone to save. Getting into numerous fights and remaining homeless for a while, her extreme prowess eventually caught the attention of the director of an underground fighting circuit, whom offered her a job sorting out the currently overflowing papers on the condition of periodically fighting, a job which she accepted. Taking a job in a liquor store the director also owned during the day and descending into the violence of the fighting circuit by night, she managed to live in relative solace living in a cheap apartment in one of the more dangerous parts of Sin City; a place where only the desperate tend to live. During her time, there, she became unable to deal with the constant and ruthless violence that permeated the city, resolving to take care of any problems that she could find using her powers regardless of what they may be; her powers may have ruined her life that by this point she had forgotten entirely save the photographs reminding her that it had happened, but she could help to save somebody else’s life any way she could. Over months, she became dreaded in the criminal underworld, gaining the tongue-in-cheek moniker of ‘Reflex’ after numerous accounts swear by her almost superhuman reflexes, literally dodging bullets on multiple occasions. Her powers allowing her to become extremely feared in the criminal underworld, nobody knew just how she could be so proficient at what she did besides her; the one thing that seemed to be universally acknowledged about her is that she believed that if you defeat somebody, they get back up to cause more harm. But if you put somebody down, that’s the last time they’ll ever cause anybody pain ever again.

The peak of her strength she has reached so far is being able to lift a car and throw it around without strain and impale somebody through the chest with a single punch. - When her strength is not increased by Fear, she is still above average strength, being able to pick somebody up from the floor or pull a door off it's hinges. - While her strength increases, she only had mild resistance to the impact. Greatest Fear: Nothing, she doesn't have anything else to lose. Strongest Trait: Unbreakable will, never shakes off from her goals and does what needs to be done. Weakest Trait: Lack of social skills. Idioms: "Down here, we're all monsters." Self image: A criminal that puts down bigger criminals. Reputation: Completely feared by civilians and criminals alike, Zone became a myth as well as fact. Ruthless, violent and unforgiving to mobsters. Civilians are scared of her, but some living in the poorer sections of Sin City say that she takes care of them, though it's a far fetched story. Sense of humor: Not much of one.
Profile: Cleo's childhood was a very rough ride. Both her parents worked low income jobs and earned just enough to get by. They were putting money aside to get Cleo into college and hopefully away from the corruption within this city. Cleo had the closest Relationship with her mother, a sweet woman but was always sick, constantly needing medicine just to get through the day and was unfit for work but she needed to so they scrape enough money. As a result, Cleo took care of her mother at every opportunity the two were home together. The relationship with her father was more strained, she didn't see much of him during the day and the times she did, he was too tired to interact with either of his daughter and wife, so Cleo never got that bonding time with him.
The family were getting by until she turned 16, a few months after she graduated high school with good grades. Her father got into debt problems with the Kovac Family. He started using money he earned trying to pay them off and began work under the table for them, even using Cleo's college fund. This made life increasingly difficult for everyone and her mother had to work double shifts while Cleo stayed at home and taking responsibilities there. Eventually, her father was arrested and thrown into jail, not having influence enough to get out again. The Kovac Family turned their attention to the mother, who had nothing to give them without skipping the bills they are normally faced with. This resulted in them being evicted and homeless. The family eventually forgot about them, seeing them surpassed their usefulness.
The pair lived on the streets for two years. Cleo's attitude started to become pessimistic and always expecting the worse, but her mother kept her hopes up and to keep going strong. Her health was deteriorating fast, so Cleo had resorted to petty crime such as mugging and thievery to get enough money together to pay for her medicines. She felt like a disappointment to her mother, having to do such deeds to get by but nowhere would offer two homeless women jobs and shelter. As things got worse, more money was needed and Cleo resorted to worse crimes. She did many things from armed burglary, stealing cars and when she was at her lowest, prostitution. One day went very bad and she was caught by police for burglary, nearly killing the victim by accident. She was sentence to prison for a year and a half.
Cleo was forced to defend herself in prison, seeing as she was frail and young so she became an easy target. Through multiple beatings and from prisoner and guard alike, she toughened up and started to fight back. It was then her powers activated, she felt herself grow stronger whenever she felt a nervous tension in the air and sensing the fear in prisoners as they worried about surviving through the day, in confidence as well as physically. She didn't truly understand her powers until she took down one of the biggest prisoners there with no effort. After that, Cleo was given a wide berth from the other prisoners and managed to get through the rest of her sentence without conflict. Halfway through her sentence however, she discovered through the grapevine that her mother died on the streets, the sickness overwhelmed her. Cleo became deeply depressed, the only thing that mattered in her life was gone and even attempted suicide. She was given a therapist but the two made little progress, Cleo shut down her emotions and began showing signs of sociopathy. She then found another purpose as she recounted the events that led to this; to take down the Kovac Family and get revenge on her father who dragged them all into this mess.
Once she was released, Cleo managed to find a job as a bartender in the Rolling Thunder two weeks later. The manager of the place, a middle aged woman named Margaret who used to be a part of a motorcycle gang, took an instant shine to her and allowed her to live in the upstairs accommodation of the bar as she worked there. She was a quiet one there and people didn't speak to her much, which she preferred, and usually was the one to separate fights before they got out of hand. During her free time, Cleo honed her fighting skills in underground fighting rings and began her stalk on the streets of the lowtowns of Sin City. While she usually beated up thugs severely and hospitialising them was common, she would kill the significant criminals so they wouldn't return to the streets again. Whenever another popped up to replace them, Cleo was crush them again. She adopted the Monikor Zone and became a very feared entity in the underworld, which only made her much more stronger. She took care of the homeless and the women that were forced to work to get by, relating to their situations and Zone retained her moral compass, never harming a civilian no matter how much they hated and feared her. She has been a Thorn in the Kovac's lowtown business for some time now, and she plans to only make it worse for them.

Name: Abigail Cole Monikers: Beyond counting but her real face is known as: The Witch Age: 26 Gender: F Birthplace: Sin City Height: 5"8 Build: Lean Hair: Black, kept long Eyes: Green Scars/handicaps: None Distinguishing features: None. she has gone out of her way to make her ordinary form as inconspicuous as possible Dress: Jeans, t-shirt and jacket Power Type: As long as she has a sample of someone's DNA she can replicate their appearance and voice although doing so requires her to consume the sample (she doesn't need a sample to revert to her normal form though) Power Skills: Disguise; she has trained herself to be very good at copying people's attitudes and mannerisms Disguising herself as someone gains her their physical abilities (strength, agility etc.) although for some reason does not replicate powers Skills: Acting, seduction, self-defence (she mainly uses a taser) Training: Trained by a con-man Education: Acting classes Relationship status: Single Job: Full-time con-woman, part-time lots of different jobs for her various faces Goal: Guilt-free money Hardship: Not getting caught by those she's conned in the past particularly a powered criminal boss known as Red Bear Greatest Fear: See above Strongest Trait: Deception Weakest Trait: Trust Idioms: "You have a nice face... I think I'll take it." Self image: A free spirit doing what she likes Reputation: A manipulative (haha) witch who'll trick you out of the shirt on your back Sense of humor: Dirty
Profile: Abigail's mother was a call-girl and so Abigail's father could have been any of a rather large number of men. To keep the two of them fed her mother spent most of her time working leaving Abigail to be looked after by their neighbour, a retired con-man named Jimmy. Abigail ran rings around the old-man sneaking out to play on the streets with the other street-kids getting into trouble with the law more than once. At the age of ten her power developed though she only noticed when she accidentally consumed a strand of her mother's hair which had fallen into her food. Her mother was understandably shocked when her ten-year old daughter transformed into a beautiful 30 year-old with her face.
Her mother knew only to well what the crime bosses would use Abigail for if they found out so she made her promise to never tell anyone save for Jimmy whom she trusted. To help keep her ability hidden Jimmy taught Abigail how to lie and later the other tricks of his trade because while her mother believed the best way to keep Abigail safe was to hide her powers Jimmy believed that the best way was to teach her to use them.
When she was thirteen Abigail began taking free acting classes run by a local charity to supplement her lessons with Jimmy as well as self-defence training. Her mother was pleased hoping her daughter would escape the Sin City slums. However when she was sixteen the gang-members came for Abigail saying her mother was becoming too old and it was time for Abigail to "take her place". Abigail's mother refused of course but things turned violent and she lost her life in the struggle while Abigail escaped. Abigail lived on the streets for a couple of weeks always moving but then she remembered everything Jimmy had taught her. Abigail began running cons using her abilities but her cons had one key difference; the mark was always a criminal. In this way she gained some small sense of vengeance as well as guilt-free money.
When she was twenty-five after a series of very successful cons she set her eyes on a bigger prize. A powered boss named Red Bear with enhanced strength and a healing factor had been making a name for herself and raking in profits so she made a point of getting close to her. Disguising herself as a particularly alluring tourist she once met she took a job in one of the Bear's strip-clubs. Over a period of months she seduced Red Bear becoming her number one squeeze on the side before managing to clean out the entire content's of Bear's personal vault and disappearing. Unfortunately the criminals of Sin City had begun to catch onto the powered con-artist and named her The Witch. Red Bear took the betrayal rather personally and swore to hunt down and catch The Witch no matter the cost. Abigail has since found it more and more difficult to run solo-cons so may be looking to team-up.

Self image: Not a hero at all, she is willing to do what the vigilantes and police force can't do. Reputation: The mobsters' boogeyman and another threat for the police. Sense of humor: A real jokester, to everybody dismay. Profile: Tomo lived a fairly good life with her familly, at least by the city's standards. She was girl who didn't caused much problem until her power appeared; she witnessed people picking on a girl who was known as the school troublemaker. The argument escalated until one guy pulled a knife and rushed her, out of reflex she shouted at them until she realised that the attacked was immobilized by dark tentacles coming from her arm. Naturally the rest of the group panicked and began call her names: Monster, freak, every kind of insults and so on. At least the initial victim wasn't like them and quickly put the leader down before running off with her savior. It turned out that the damsel in distress was named Juliet and that she wasn't like these guys, knowing too well that the girl couldn't decide what to do she proposed a place to stay while she recovered from the shock. After some time Tomo had to make a choice: Either go back to her home and be treated as a freak or stay with Juliet, she picked the second option with some regret at first. The two of them began to know each other in the first month they live together, at first they became inseparables to the point Juliet began to rub off on soon to be Shade: first she was taught how to live in the streets, how to fight in self defence, after some months together these two went further than friends and began a relationship. Time passed and for two girls in a city such as Sin City there were only few outcomes for them, either work for mobsters or do things on their own, Juliet ppicked the first option and had to sell drugs for them, Tomo on her end took a different turn after some rough times. She Picked fights with rivals drug dealers, beated them down then scavenged their possessions, mainly money. More time went by until 3 months or so later Juliet's boss appeared screaming with gangsters armed to the teeths, apparently she was selling and using stuff behind his back, none of this was true but Tomo's income made their life easier and the accusations toward her girlfriend likely true. Out of rage the guy knocked Tomo out cold before turning to Juliet, saying that if she liked the stuff so much he will give her, he injected so much cocaïne that she died from an overdose. Shade was 19 when Juliet died. After these events and some really bad times she keep doing what she do best, picking up mobsters but with rage and a new goal, Kill them all, every one of them deserve to die. Now she calls herself Shade, She is impulsive, crude, got a whole arsenal to use and don't like to be messed with. She mainly act in the "poor" districts of the town. (Here's an old pic from the old heromachine, i had a better one but it got lost in the dark places of my computer, meh) Attachments:

Profile:
Jack’s earliest memories are of his first home. A laboratory with his sterile white walls, punishing florescent lighting, and distant scientist. Visions of needles and strange chemical fill his mind as they did who knows what to him as a child. He spent 20 hours a day in his small cell complete with a bed just big enough for him, a toilet, and three white walls. The fourth wall had a door and a giant glass window for him to look through, with no other ways to entertain himself he would watch. There were fifteen other children all around his age, was dressed like him had their heads saved like him, and all had a different barcode on the back of their necks. Little did he know these hours spent watching was actually a training exercise.
Once a day two guards would come in and ask him questions about what he saw. Every wrong answer would result with him being beaten, every correct answer would stop the beatings. At first the questions were easy, ‘What was served for lunch today? How many children were wearing red?’ as the years dragged on they became harder. ‘How many times did child 127 scratch his wrist between 3pm to 4pm?’
By the time, he was ten he could answer every question without fail nothing escaped his notice, and that’s when the game changed. He was encouraged to lie to them, he would be hooked up to lie detectors, and asked questions like usual, but now truthful answers were met with punishment. His lies had to be convincing, obvious ones were rewarded with electric shocks. Soon nothing could detect his lies even under the most stressful situations. Physical and mental torture, no longer worked by the time he was twelve he could beat any test they threw at him.
Things were going well for the most part, he was given a nicer cell with books covering profiling, and investigation. Books written by retired FBI, CIA, and police to show him how to use is powers in a more practical sense. One day he was taken from his cell and was tasked with using his skills to interrogate one of the other children. His name was child 176, though Jack had named him Sam as he watched him through the window their whole childhood. Sam was in trouble for killing a guard, though he denied it the security staff was certain it was him.
After hours of brutal interrogation Jack came to the conclusion that Sam didn’t commit the murder, but he knew who did. Sam wouldn’t say who did it even after the beatings, the electrical shocks, Jack was impressed that Sam wouldn’t talk no matter what was done to him, Jack knew he would have just so he would be left alone as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Sam died due to the torture he sustained, the staff then questioned Jack asking him what he learned. Looking Sam’s still warm corpse Jack lied to them to save whoever Sam gave his life for. “Sam did it.” He said cold and monotone, the staff trusted Jack and the investigation was ended.
Three days before Jack’s 14th birthday, there was a riot. All the other children revolted against the staff, Jack sat in his cell watching it unfold in front of him. So much death and destruction laid before him most of the children died only a handful escaped, what was on the outside of these walls was still a mystery. The few that didn’t participate in the riot were rounded up, judging the facility to be a failure, all the remaining nonviolent children were shipped around the world to different orphanages. To this day, he spends his free time trying to track down others, hoping to figure out who made that place and if there is another one like it. If so he will hunt it down and destroy it.
He graduated high school two years early at the age of sixteen. He went to college and got an BA in criminal justice, he joined the police academy and graduated first in his class. He kept his powers hidden to the police hoping it wouldn’t draw more unnecessary attention to himself. He became a detective after two years and was in the homicide department, until it was agreed he would be more useful in the gang division, he was given a new partner who was suspected by IA for being a dirty cop. Today is his first day in the department, he is about to meet his new partner and hopefully the rumors were false and he was a good cop. Jack didn’t need another reason to watch his back.
