Rachel held up her drink and made an X over her heart. "I promise that I'll stop trying to do my method acting as as skeleton." She said with that same easy going smile. It was nice having someone looking out for her. Minie was always nice but they had been thick as thieves ever since she first moved in. Both Tasha and Eve had been fairly easy to get along with since she arrived. Rachel put her arm on Eve's shoulder. "I have felt that pain before." She said with sympathy. "The allure of coffee can sometimes drive people mad. Why, just look at what it did to Jack! He's jittery, weird, pervert. Oh wait, he doesn't drink coffee does he?" She chuckles, she doesn't entirely mean it. Jack is weird and a definite creep but he can be nice when he chooses to be. Rachel wouldn't have liked him as much if it wasn't so bloody obvious that he was head over heels in love with Tasha. If pressed she knew that he'd deny it fervently. But only a total dope wouldn't realize it, which thankfully, Tasha is. Mama bird is too blinded by Matthew to notice Jack's affection. Rachel blinked at the sound of Eve's yawn, "Sorry, kinda zoned out for a second there." She nods her head and raises her spriteas she turns to leave. "See ya tomorrow Minie. May the temptation of coffee not win out." With that she made her exit from the living room and back to her own room. She closed the door behind her. She absentmindedly set the sprite down on her desk, completely forgetting to lock the door. When she had first moved in she locked the door knob, the deadbolt, and the chain lock. That had come in handy when Jack had tried to sneak in one night. She stripped out of her black tank top revealing that she had not been wearing a bra. She slid the sweat pants down to her ankles showing the black underwear she had on. She took a few steps towards her bed, gave a yawn and collapsed on the soft cushions. She hugged the soft blankets to her form as she drifted off to sleep.

Tasha is awake before probably anybody else on the floor. She usually keeps her sleeping routine relatively the same even on a day off. Awake by 7am, she doesn't like upsetting that ritual incase the whole pattern is thrown into disarray. Putting the glasses over her eyes turns the blurred out landscape she sees into the familiar room she calls her personal space. Usually, Jack would come to her room just before sleeping. While with his behaviour, it usually means something less than tasteful and it probably is. Tasha is an exception for Jack for whatever reason. Instead, he comes to chat with her for awhile. Sure his inevitable lines of flirting come out, but he is a lot more tame when they are alone for reasons unknown to Tasha... She finds it sweet though and enjoys these talks. However she is grateful he didn't show up last night. It was already very late and she was very tired.
She spends about twenty minutes getting her hair all sorted, light make up and finally throws some clothes on. Today, she decided to wear something comfortable after wearing her work uniform most of this week. Jeggings, a simple black tank top with a pair of ankle boots. Of course she avoids looking at herself in the mirror for too long. While she is happy with her shape more than she was years ago, Tasha can't help but slowly nitpick the little things about her body and end up feeling self-conscious about it. But she's working on it to feel fully confident in herself again. Just a work in progress... She hopes she will get there before the wedding. Getting that negative feeling in the dress will be getting married in is a big no no. She won't have that floating in her mind on the biggest day of her life. With that, she leaves her room for the kitchen.
She begins to prepare a breakfast for everyone before going to wake Rachel up, something simple like homemade blueberry pancakes will do it for everybody this morning. Her friend been working hard lately and deserves a lie in for a bit. Tasha really admires her roommate's determination to find bigger and more prestigious contracts in voice acting to further herself. She wants to support that ambition, it's a far reaching goal but one that will be all worth it. Rachel definitely has the talent for it from what she heard. Even if... It was slightly... Adult. Breakfast is almost ready as she ponders this thought and begins to put all the pancakes onto a plate to cool.

Eve groggily opened her eyes, which landed on her clock. She yawned as she willed herself to get up, knowing she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep once more. Even though it was her day off, she always tended to wake up early anyway, so she didn't mind.
She took roughly 15 minutes to get her morning routine done, which consisted of brushing her teeth, getting her hair presentable, and putting on some clothes for the day. She chose some jeans, sneakers, and a simple plain dark blue shirt. She double checked herself in the mirror to find any errors she could correct, but none were to be found. Content, with her routine done, she left her room.
She walked out of the room to the familiar scent of pancakes, and smiled to herself. She almost forgot how she and Tasha shared a day-off. It was a lucky thing, which gave a good choice of things to do together on it. Turning the corner, she sees the source of the smell and Tasha laying their breakfast down. She hummed as she came closer to get a better look at them, before looking back up at Tasha with a smile on her face. "Good morning! The breakfast looks great." She said, licking her lips in anticipation at the meal, noting how it still hadn't cooled off. "I guessed I'd see you up at this time, early bird." She said, giving a friendly smile at her friend.

Tasha smiles sweetly at Eve's hello just as she serves the pancakes onto the plate for cooling. "Oh you know me... I can't sleep in to save my life." She says jokingly. She really can't, it's kind of a weird quirk. "Help yourself. I just finished them up and I'll go wake Rachel up in a moment. We're gonna do the grocery shopping and pick up some stuff for Brie's welcome party but after that, we might take advantage of all of us having free time on the same day. Would you like to come with us?" She would like to include Eve. Due to Tasha's unpredictable hours and Eve's exhausting ones, their hangout times are mostly restricted within the apartment since its either too late or they're too tired to do much else.

"Well, it is pretty boring to wake up when everyone else is asleep, so thanks!" She said jokingly, a few laughs escaping her mouth. She enjoyed the time they spent together. Sometimes she liked the one-on-one conversations they have, although she always enjoyed hanging out with all the tenants. It was just that their schedules did restrict these talks due to the nature of their jobs and time frames.
"Sure, I was planning on getting some things for the party." She said, giving a warm smile. Just as she finished her sentence, she remembered something from last night that Tasha was going to tell her. "Hey, what was that thing you wanted to ask me? The suspense is killing me!" She laughed, trying to suppress the noise so as not to wake anyone else up. She was genuinely curious about it. Tasha sounded nervous while she was asking it, which only helped her curiosity grow.

Tasha suddenly remembers what she was going to ask Eve, about her offer of a Bridesmaid! She feels quite bad that she left her in anticipation from last night due to how late Brie arrived. She had no moment to talk about it, but she sure does now... She turns around to lean against the kitchen side and face the other woman, looking slightly nervous as before. "Well, I only have my maid of honour and another Bridesmaid on my side of the wedding." It does not sound too surprising on Tasha's part. She's a very private person, so she chose two of her closest friends in her work for these roles. But now, she would really like a third. Even though Tasha is confident that she will accept, it doesn't stop her from fidgeting with her hands as she talks. Asking the big questions like this always has her nervous. "Well, I was wondering if you would like to be another one of my Bridesmaids by my side?" She asks with a hopeful smile. It feels so much better getting that question out of mind and into reality.. She hopes Eve will accept...

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've heard you say they were really close friends from work." Eve mentioned, a hint of confusion just as before at why Tasha was talking about it. A few ideas about it began to bubble up inside her her head, the most logical of which being Tasha wanting Eve to be a Bridesmaid. Eve listened closely at her friend, seeing how she began to be nervous when she began to ask.
A smile emerged from her curious face at the question. "Of course I do! There's no need to be nervous about asking me, I'd love to." Eve says to the nervous doctor. So this was what Tasha's been meaning to say! Eve had a large smile on her face, happy to have heard what the question was. "Trust me, I'd love to. I've never been a Bridesmaid before!"

Rachel mind was enshrouded by the comforting shroud of a dreamless rest. It was the rest she had been craving every moment she had been awake the previous day. It was the sleep of the dead in almost all respects. She did not toss or turn nor did she make nary a sound. This had once scared the mother hen of the flat when she went to check up on her one morning. Now that had certainly been a spectacle. Before she moved into the city she would wake up at the sound of every creak and groan that her house made. But that had been before she grew used to the the intensity and near constant nature of city noise. There was always some jackass revving his engine at two A.M or a couple arguing far too loudly outside. This was also before she worked herself to exhaustion almost everyday. Now when she conked out it was as though she had entered a coma and if someone dared to disturb her slumber it was as though a demon woke up instead of the usual laid back Rachel. Poor Eve had learned that lesson the hard way once. The only thing that made her wake up with a smile was...the voice actress fidgeted on her bed as the alluring scent of blueberry pancakes began to creep inside of her room. Her brows knitted together and she gripped her pillow a bit tighter to her body as the magical scent of Tasha's cooking drew her further and further from her lovely sleep. At last she said farewell to her rest and her eyes shot open. She breathed in deeply and grinned, early or not she would always choose Tasha's cooking. It didn't hurt that she was also starving too. Her stomach gave a demanding growl as she slid out from bed. She stretched her arms above her until she heard a satisfying pop. The sight would've given Jack a heart attack if he had been able to see the young actress stretching with nothing but her panties on. The next few seconds would've killed him though as she stripped out of her undies and gathered up some clothes for her to wear. While usually she preferred wearing as little as possible when she was at home and Jack wasn't around, she'll need to be a bit better dressed for the shopping trip. A bum at home but a lady on the streets, that was her usual dress code.
Tasha heard a groan as Rachel walked into the kitchen wearing a grey t-shirt with a yellow smiley face with Xs over the eyes and jean shorts. "You're an evil woman, mama bird. Using your cooking skills to wake me up." Rachel was wearing her usual easy going smile as always.

Tasha feels relieved to get this question out in the open. It would have nibbled away at her and we would have ended up blurting it out at the most inopportune time. The relief changes into joy when Eve accepts her offer. She feels a swell of positive emotions, that she has to suppress tears welling up into her eyes. Everything about this wedding seems to be getting her overemotional, both good and bad. She feels a little silly now, getting all worked up about her answer, or course she would have loved to be one... And it's her first time too! That just makes this moment all the sweeter for the two of them. The two can't help closing this moment with a heartfelt hug. "I'm glad you will be there beside me." She says softly, this time the tears do well in her tears, but they don't spill. Darn, she pushed herself over the edge again..
After the two girls separate and Tasha wipes her eyes, Rachel comes in with impeccable timing just as the pancakes finish cooling. The key to that woman's heart seems to be Tasha's cooking. It's amusing, Jack once thought if he did the same in the morning that perhaps he could use this to make the two closer.. Only he was on the verge of a kitchen catastrophe if it wasn't for the Nurse saving the the floor from burnt breakfast and a fire so early in the day... He has since improved under her help and gave up on the ludicrous 'get laid quick' scheme. Tasha smirks almost playfully at sleepy woman and calling her evil for waking her. "It's safer than going into your room and waking you that way." She quips back. "Help yourself, they should be cool enough now. Have you finished the job you were given?" She asks making morning talk, she did seem absent for awhile when doing it. Seems she really needed the money lately... "Eve is tagging along with us, perhaps we can all find something to do after shopping."

Rachel nodded with a wince remembering the last time someone woke her up, "Yeah that's definitely true. Again, sorry about that Eve." She says, sparing an apologetic look at her flat mate. Idly she tucks a stray brown lock out of her eyes as her eyes adjust to the brightness of the kitchen. The smell of blueberry pancakes was overwhelming and was the perfect wake up call for the voice actress. "Thanks Mama bird." She says cheerfully before snatching one of the blueberry pancakes off of her he stack. She grabbed a fork and some maple syrup and sat down at the counter. At the mention of her work Rachel becomes a bit subdued, she doesn't really like talking about it. Hell, she finds it degrading that they even know about it. Her embarrassment over talking about her work has diminished significantly since she moved in but it's still not exactly fun for her. She nods,"Yeah, finished up the scripts yesterday. The writing is horrible as always but what can you expect?" She says with a sigh and a shake of her head. "But today I'm completely free." That smile of hers came back as bright as ever. Her brow raises as she turned from Tasha to Eve, "Oh you're coming with us Minie?" She gave a chuckle, "It'll be a girl's day out then eh?" Rachel begins to dig in to her pancake. The sweetness of the blueberries and the syrup mixed with the light fluffy texture of the cake was enough to bring a tear to ones eye. How did she choose to be a nurse when her cooking was this good?! She patted her lips with her napkin, "If this nurse thing doesn't work out I'll happily pay you to be my personal chef." Rachel said with a bit of laugh. Though, her smile turned to worry when she noticed the redness of Tasha's eyes, "Hey, are you alright?" If this was about her husband being away again she's going to really lay into him when he gets back.

Tasha smiles at Rachel's compliments of her food. It's nice that people appreciate her cooking. "I don't think you could afford me." Again, Tasha quips back at her, but if somebody thinks she could cook for a living, that is definitely a good sign of her cooking. At first, Tasha seems confused when she is asked if she is okay... then noticed that Rachel was looking at her eyes, which must still be showing signs of a recent cry. Tasha just laughs a little. "Oh it's nothing. I just got a little emotional after Eve accepted to be my Bridesmaid."

Eve smiled warmly at her friend as Tasha began to cry from her answer. "I wouldn't want it any other way." She spoke softly as they hug each other. Tasha's well of emotions only served to aid in Eve's, causing both to start the hug. When they separate from the warm hug, Eve hands her some tissues to dry off her tears.
As Rachel comes in with as great timing as ever, Eve smiles at her softly. "So nice of you to wake up! Seriously. Thank god yo woke up. I did not want to have to go through that experience again." She said exagerratedly, shuttering for added effect, before laughing out loud. "Yeah, I want to grab some things for the party and myself." She chuckled as she grabbed a seat to sit on. "I guess so. Maybe we'll find something else to do as well?" She shrugged as she pulled up a plate, licking her lips as she does so. She began to dig into the meal, starting off slow and methodical before speeding up after savoring the taste. She swallows as Rachel compliments Tasha's cooking, and agrees, aying,"Definitely. Although I'd beat you to her first!" A cheeky smile emerges on her face as she says so, before eating some more.
She remains silent as Rachel asked Tasha about what was wrong. She'd rather let Tasha be the one to say it first. After all, it was her wedding. Once Tasha shares her reason, Eve chimes in. "Yeah! I'm really excited about it!" She says with a wide smile on her face.
