Dolly shakes her head at Scylla reciting James' outburst. "Let Agent Connors know that I am recording a stream of my examinations to our superior, and he caught every word of what he said to Aida." She says to the elemental, still using her professional tone. Seriously, are all Shadowrunners this reckless? "Agent Connors has requested the body of the victim to be transported to the scene of the murder. Awaiting confirmation." A few seconds later, her earpiece receives the gravelly voice of her boss, granting this request.
She is about to end her examinations, when she sees something that catches her eye. "Hold up..." She mumbles and zooms in to the left side of the corpse's temples, a tiny incision is seen, almost missed. A quick scan shows that a piece of cyber was installed into her brain, but it is now missing... She quickly brings up a file of the wife's previous Cybernetic augment installations. The list is huge, due to her career but she finds something solid. She claps her hands together in a victorious way. "It WAS thievery! But it was for a specific piece of chrome!"
She turns to her co-workers. "You see, every person using cybernetics has a little something implanted into their brains called a Data Cookie. The cookie records every memory, thought, and event the user has experience complete with what they see and what they hear and say. It even records what they were feeling at the time. Every single piece is then stored into the cookie and creates a digital copy of the person, like a digital intelligence if you will. Extraction of this data cookie has a 98% chance of death so it is highly recommended to do this after the user's passing. This creates two possibilities: the murderer wants her cookie to sell on the black market so some pervert can buy it to fantasise over this girl's raunchy memories. Or two, which I'm leaning towards, is that Mrs. McGyver knew something important... And this murderer either wanted to know or didn't want it to get out. Continuing investigation. End recording."
Once she is sure it has ended, she jumps up and punches the air. "I am a fucking genius!" She screams gleefully. "Right. Leads. What do you guys think? All we have right now is taking her back to the murder scene." She asks no one in particular. She would like to get her co-worker's theories before laying out her own. "Or does anybody else wanna check our dead celebrity?"

The plan was to inform James that the messages from Cherrybomb were also fake but now Aida plans on letting him figure it out on his own. In the end she made sure that nothing she said would be permanently damaging... hopefully. And despite recording the encounter Aida plans to keep it to herself, even if James is an ass he's still a good agent and Aida would prefer if he wasn't fired.
As for taking the body back Aida never liked the idea of moving bodies back and forth but if the investigation requires it she won't object. With her hologram walking around the room Aida watches the body, something about it seems... off.
"Agents, her cookie was unregistered. No one should have known it exists"

Proteus stifled a laugh at James' outburst at Aida. Proteus shook his amusement away and focused on the task at hand. He inspected the corpse once more as Dolly spoke of her observations. It seemed to him like it was some form of revenge, or, as Dolly theorized, could be to get info or to stop the info from getting out. Before he could speak his view, Aida spoke up, stating that her data cookie was unregistered. Proteus took this moment to speak. "That begs the question: why would she have an unregistered cookie? Perhaps she had something to hide, so it could be possible someone wanted that information. Aside from that, the only person that would know of it then, would be the person who installed it. I do have one question, though. Where was the husband when she was murdered. Surely, someone or something must have seen it. A camera, or just some witness." Proteus looked around to see his coworkers reactions to his theories.

Dolly scratches her head in thought at Aida's reveal. "That means the cookie is black market. But why? Could Mrs. McGyver have dabbled in the dark?.." Dolly thinks on it a little. They don't have near enough evidence to begin pointing out suspects. But they have some leads. Dolly just hopes this doesn't lead to another dead-end like the other victims.
"Alright, we have two possible places to look. First is taking the body back to the crime scene and let James or Proteus examine the aura there, we could possibly get an insight what happened. The next is the black market, which is a little more tricky since some of us have law enforcement backgrounds but we could get a clue on who supplied her the cookie, there's only a few chrome doctors in the shadows." Dolly explains to the group. She has a dark feeling about this case, she feels that they're dealing with something far more large than what they are seeing.
"I'll go to the crime scene. I can use my scanner to see about any evidence the Lonestar missed. Aida, could you send a message to the other lot about the two possible leads we have, dear?"

"Awww isn't that cute you we're right on this case plus I know what a cookie is. Now question where was she wetworked at there bounded to be some clues there regrading her being geeked." Says Kade looking over the body of Mrs. McGyver. Turing on top of Kade hits Kade on his head "Kade you said you would stop being mean towards the others!" They still continue to hit Kade till Kade grabs Turing and says "What did I make you sentient again? Also I can't help it it's just part of my act Turing so in a way I never agreed to that deal." Says Kade as he places Turing back on his shoulders. Hmm Dolly does make a valid point I'll have to check out the crime scene then from there I'll check the cameras in the surrounding area then hopefully get something out the footage from the cams. "Hol Doll I'm coming with you to the crime scene." This case is surely going to be wiz will that's what Kade hopes at least.

His anger lessening he decides to get to work, digging through his ritual book he finds the best possible one to summon her spirit. She's been dead for awhile, she was chromed up, and there was a few mysteries about her murder that were bothering him. The professionalism of the kill, was the worst part. With his communicator still on he listens in to the others debate until Dolly says something hysterical. He can't help, but laugh out loud over his comm. "You think too much like a cop Dolly. Give me an hour and the kind of nuyen our victim had, and I could get almost any cyberdoc bending over backwards to do something shady. In fact..." He trails of as he gets an idea, grabbing his personal communicator he makes a call. Almost instantly an Elf woman picks up. "Wildcat I need a favor or two."
"Depends you quit working on the wrong side of the law yet chummer?" Her words have a venom in them, there is clearly some bad blood between the two, James hopes he put is work phone on mute, but he can't remember. "Or are you still hunting down the people that took you in after Ares tried to kill you, because you finally saw the light?" James is taken aback as he silently lets her rage flow over him. "So what is it you want? Need me to sell out a runner so you can get a nice cushy promotion, wageslave? Or are you calling to apologize about how Flap got geeked last week. The shaman we got to replace you wasn't up to snuff, spirit ripped him in half!" She was screaming now, Flap was a dwarf rigger who's been in the game forever, he showed Seraph the ropes, he hooked him up with Wildcat's crew and got him a steady job in the shadows. "So what the fuck do you want?" Her tone was still full of hatred.
"Who geeked him?" Were the only words James could muster out of a soft whisper. "Tell me who killed him, and I promise you they'll be dead by sundown." No one hurts those James cares about, Flap was the closest thing he had to a father, vengeance was the only thing that mattered now. Fuck this case, fuck this agency, and fuck anyone that got in his way.
"Some mage that worked for the Ortega family. They were pissed about a run we did, and retaliated leveled a bunch of the barrens trying to flush us out. Flap went down slowing them so the rest of us could get away. Don't do anything stupid omae." Her voice grew soft, as concern for his safety ate away her anger. "What did you need from me?"
"I need you to send a coworker of mine a list of names. Every cyberdoc that would do some off the books work. Specifically for the rich and famous, so I'm thinking someone skilled enough to have a good reputation, but needed the money. Also, everything you can get on a 'Elizabeth McGyver'. Friends, meetings, everything Lonestar is to incompetent, or too lazy to find. You're going to send it to an AI of the name Aida. She'll make sure you are paid handsomely." There is a pause in his words, trying to think of what to say next. "I got to go, I have a case to solve...it was good speaking to you again." He ends the call and sits in silence for a few moments. Scylla holds him trying to console him over the lost of Flap, she loved that old Dwarf as much as he did she knew how much he was hurting.
He slides the draw at his desk open, grabbing his Savalette Guardian, his prized heavy pistol, standing he heads straight to the armory. Sliding his ID he walks in and starts grabbing ammunition. Taking an Ares Executioner sub machine gun he straps it to his chest underneath his jacket. He sneaks out the back door and starts to head downtown. "I got something I need to do, I'll be late." He sends a message to the team and shuts off his comm, making sure all the tech on him was shut down making it harder to follow him, he signals a cab. The Ortega family are relativity small time, they have a few holdings, but that's not where he's going. He's headed straight to the source, the Ortega compound which isn't too far from the crime scene. His components would be delivered in about an hour, so he has more than enough time to send his message. In the world of shadow running you don't make anything personal, it was a mistake the Ortega's made now they need to pay for it.

As James entered the main lobby, Liliane picked used the secretary's table to pick herself up from the ground. Her suit was taking its toll on her more than ever now that she had no magic left to support it's weight, so she began to remove the heavier pieces and reveal casual clothes from underneath. Stretching to adapt to the new feeling of weightlessness, she took up much less space than before. As she moved to look over at James again, she noticed the new face of the other woman in the room. Before she had a chance to introduce herself to the woman who she assumed was a new recruit, James immediately began to mess with her. Though she had only known him for a few weeks, this was something she could've seen coming. "Don't let him scare you away." She said playfully to the new recruit after leaning back a bit to catch her breath. "He doesn't exactly call the shots around here." She continued, turning her head to give the fellow mage a small smile. As Scylla tossed her the bottle of water, she began to drink from it immediately after catching it. Sighing in relief, she nodded to both James and Scylla in thanks. Her face immediately went to a frown when James reminded her of her tardiness though, and she sagged a bit. "I was kind of.. held up by something." She said before sighing, speaking in an apologetic voice. "I really didn't think that I would be this late, though.." Her dedication to her work and the agency made her feel somewhat embarrassed about her late arrival. His warning about Aida deducting pay didn't really get to her, though, because monetary gain was never really an incentive for her to do what she does. As James begin to walk across the room and chant, she stared at the man with a curious expression. Though also a mage, she had never been too knowledgeable about magic other than the spell that she constantly used to increase her physical prowess. "W-woah.." She said, as she began to straighten up and her breathing began to slow down. James described the spell before she could properly thank for restoring her energy, but something he said gave her pause. "Addictive?" She asked, looking a bit confused and speaking in a voice that she tried keep from sounding too concerned to avoid hurting the mage's feelings. "Not that I don't appreciate it, but I think I'd like to catch my breath the old fashioned way from now on." Though grateful for the sentiment, the idea of an addictive spell worried her. She immediately began to reassemble the pieces of her black suit despite this, content to continue fighting its weight with her renewed energy.
"Got it. Thanks!" She said, after receiving James's notification for the details of the case. After skimming through it enough to get a basic understanding, she saw that the rest of the team left to investigate a crime scene. Despite being so integrated into law enforcement, investigating was never her strong suit and she was a bit reluctant to meet up with them. Due to this, she hung out in the lobby for a while rather than immediately leaving for the rest of the group. Eventually, though, she decided to head to the armory to grab her usual weapon before leaving. As she began to walk down the hallway, she saw James leave the armory and head for one of the rooms containing one of the building's back doors. Hearing James's message about being late, she wondered what he could possibly be doing that would require such heavy weaponry. Once arriving at the armory, it didn't take long for her to find her usual firearm on the wall since she'd left it in the same spot that she always did. After considering her next course of action for a moment, she sent her own message to the rest of the team. "I'm sorry for not showing up to work today, guys. I think I also won't be meeting up with the group until later." She said, intending to follow James. It's not that she followed him because she was suspicious of his intentions, as she couldn't help but trust in the virtue of everyone that she worked with, but she was certainly curious. She used a small amount of magic to make her suit lighter on her, since James had gotten quite a head-start out of the building. She moved into a jog and quickly made her way out of the headquarters and into the illuminated nightly street on the outside. It wasn't long until she was able to spot James as he held out his hand to hail a cab, which made her turn her jog into a run as she made her way over to him. Eventually arriving in front of him, she had to stop herself from toppling forward because of the sudden stop. "James, there you are!" She said in a somewhat relieved voice. Her blue eyes stared past the clear visor in front of them in order to meet those of the man in front of her. "I saw that you were getting some stuff from the armory. It just seems like whatever you're about to do for the case is going to be suited for me way more than whatever the rest are doing right now." She said, giving the mage a clueless smile. Situations like these made the reasons why her employers primarily employed her for physical work obvious. Despite years of success, she was always trusting of those who she worked with. Aside from that, her reliance on the physical aspects of her jobs gave her little training for reading others. Though if she found out what James was actually up to, she'd be furious.

"Gee. I don't know, Kade. Are you gonna cut it out being a hardass?" Dolly says sarcastically with a smirk. She makes it sound like she's teasing, but she's beginning to get fed up of his drek attitude. She can easily ignore it at the office but on a case, it can grind on her nerves. She lets it go for now, the revelations of this case are just getting weirder by the second...
Her PDA lights up with two messages, one from James and the other from Liliane. Both contain the same sort of thing, that they have something to do that seems more important than working on a murder case. She rolls her eyes at this. Liliane works two jobs, so she isn't too surprised by that but what excuse does James have this time? Did his little elf client want to have a sif through his case files in the bedroom again? Either way, he's gonna be in a lot of shit with the boss and most likely have his career at risk... She doesn't wanna see him get sacked, he's probably one of few people that she can have a laugh with in Meta, not to mention he can be a great investigator when he puts effort into it.
Dolly sends one message to the boss and another to James and Liliane. The one to the boss contains some bullshit about tasking the two with a lead, giving them a solid alibi. The one to them is a heads up. "I've given you a forty minute window before the boss notices you're not actually interrogating a possible suspect. Fifteen Nuyen says you don't make it back in time (-;"
Soon after, Dolly gets another message from an anonymous sender, which she dislikes immediately. Her old Lonestar instincts tell her it's somebody who works in the shadows, nobody except a SINless contacts somebody anonymously, what have they to hide? The message contains no sender name nor an explanation, just a list of chrome doctors working in the shadier parts of Seattle. Nothing more else to go on so either they were only tasked for grabbing docs or this info is incredibly hush hush. Better than nothing I suppose... She prints the messages onto a holodisk that ejects from the wrist of her cyberarm. She whistles the musical tune once more and Shelly comes by, taking the disk from her wrist and passing it over to Proteus with it's metal beak. "Something that could give us a good lead. I heard there's a new kid coming in today, why not drop by the office and bring her along?" Dolly suggests and turns to Kade. "Ready to get moving, grumpy pants?"

Catherine followed the one called Liliane into the armoury and might as well have wondered into a candy shop. So many guns! SMGs, pistols, ARs, shotguns... She could happily spend all day maintaining and modding them all. It reminded her of her time back in Ares when she'd been working at designing their latest weapons. As much as she hate working for a megacorp she'd loved the work itself finding ways to make guns, lighter, more powerful and so accurate they could hit a fly in mid-flight. She went back down to the reception and asked the nice lady behind the desk. "Um hi again do you guys have a uh workbench so I can get started?"

Ptoteus softly took the disk from Dolly's... bird, and spoke with a grin. "Aye, aye!". He'd always been called childish, andd he couldn't lie about it. When he first levitated himself, which was at 13, he pretended to be a superhero. Although he did know when to get serious when needed, he liked acting childish. It especially helped in situations where combat was the only situation, as it allowed him to be underestimated. As he mulled over his distracted train of thought, Proteus added one thing before he left, "Me and the rookie will see you at the murder scene." As he ended his sentence, he casted a levitation spell on himself and flew back to the agency to meet the recruit, calm her down and all, and see what's on the disk.
On the way to the Agency, Dolphin appeared next to him. "Hey Dolphin!" Proteus said to Dolphin, and for the next few minutes, they talked on and on about the most random of things. While many mages treat their teacher similar to how one may speak to their boss, Proteus and Dolphin were similar to siblings.
Proteus had first seen Dolphin when he was 13, right after a fire had started in his family's apartment. The most traumatizing part of that experience was that he had caused it. It was right after he discovered his magic. The flame had reached the whole of the apartment, only narrowly avoiding his family, who had been eating their dinner together peacefully. Proteus had been almost entranced by the flames on the candles in the table center. All of a sudden the fire sparked, and the table had been set aflame! In a struggle to escape, Dolphin had appeared. The totem summoned water so cool that the flames seemed to shrink in it's presence. Soon, the apartment had been washed out of any flame. Proteus had been traumatized of that event for months, always fearful around flames, afraid that he'll cause it to lash out like he had done so long ago. However, Dolphin had consoled him, but had also trained him. With enough practice, Proteus had outgrown his fear, and had grown as a mage. Proteus couldn'the help but smile as he remembered the times he spent with Dolphin.
Dolphin shook his student's head, as Proteus was just a moment away from hitting a wall. Startled, Proteus stopped himself immediately. Breathing heavily, Proteus dispelled his levitation, and made his way to around the wall, which belonged to the Meta Agency building. Proteus came in through the front door, and made his way to the computers. First the disk, then the recruit, Proteus thought to himself. Proteus was met with a list of all cyber docs that would be suspects for installing some cybernetics off the book. He printed a copy out, and headed down to meet the new recruit.

"I'm not grumpy and yes I want to add something to Turing for this case and I want to see how skilled our noobie is." Says Kade great hopefully this person won't miss around with my workshop granted yes it was for everyone use. Kade eventually turned it into his own workshop and the birthplace of Turing I swear if there a Decker or a Rigger I'm definitely going to lay down some ground rules for the workshop. "So ready Doll?" Quips Kade know that he's starting to piss her off. Turing again hits Kade "I'm dearly sorry for Kade actions Ms.Schafer. Now shall we be off?" Says Turing looking at Dolly.

Dolly chuckles a little. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that you're not grumpy, sweetie." She says in a patronising way, patting the top of his head to further tease him. She turns to Turing with a smile. "You don't need to apologise for Kade being full of negative drek all the time, honey. Let's get moving." She says to the robot.
Dolly whistles once more and Shelly comes back, landing on Turing's head. It let's out a tune in a friendly hello way to the robot. Dolly instructs the Coroner to move the body back to the murder scene, for further investigation. She then heads to her car and gets in, waiting for Kade and Turing. "Okay I got the address where the murder took place. I'll be honest with you chummer, something about this whole case doesn't feel right with me." She says while in thought. She has no proof so far that this is a bad case or something more, she just has her gut feeling to go on. Being in this business and her previous Lonestar career, she knew that a gut feeling is something you shouldn't ignore.

Rage was bleeding out of every pore James had, the plan was simple. 'Arrive, raise hell, leave' it was beautiful, in its simplistically. Earth spirits will break the gates, while he slips in invisible, unloads his 10mm flaming sword of justice into the back of their skulls. An evil smile sat on his face, he was reliving the kill before it even happened. Unfortunately his premature celebration is interrupted by Liliane. He blinks twice at her confused on why she was here, did she know his plan. How loud was he on the call with Wildcat, she has to be here to stop him. If he goes invisible and runs he might lose her, but he'll be using too much magic too early.
He can barely stand when she ask kindly what he was doing. This poor sweet girl, she was happy to help. A small pang of guilt hits him, something about her genuine happiness relaxes him. "No this isn't work related." He begins explaining why he was out here armed to the teeth. "A friend of mine was killed, by some people I was going to kill all of them." He says as he begins walking in the general direction to the Ortega base. "He was like a father to me, he showed me how to run the shadows. Kept me, and a lot of others fed, and clothed." His voice turns sad as he reminiscences about the Flap, a dull pain in his gut slowly grows more intense with each step he takes. "I was going to kill these guys in their home, that's what Flap would have done if it happened to me." Flap was a good Dwarf a hard working caring old man. Sensing his sadness Scylla reappears wrapped around giving him a hug in hopes of calming him down. Truth be told she'd rather he didn't do this, but she was going to support him either way. James takes his hand out of his jacket pocket and runs it through Scylla's 'hair', a habit he formed over the years. Her cool body running through his fingers always relaxed him, usually she would hum whatever song she just learned while he did it, but tonight she was silent.
The walk down the road was nice, Liliane wasn't bad company. "I'll go back to work for now, I'm not promising I won't do anything, but I'll at least do it off the clock." He states after a few moments of silence, realizing his plan was idiotic at best suicidal was more appropriate. He turns on his comms looking at his work phone he sees a message from Dolly. Looks like they are expecting us, he sighs looking back at Liliane he begins to speak. "Please do me a favor, and not let anyone know about this. They won't get it. Dolly's a cop she does things the right way even if there are better ways. Kade I don't think would care, he might even join me if I pay him enough. Proteus is a kind soul he won't like revenge killing. Aida....well I just hate Aida." Putting all his trust in her he looks at her with a sorrowful look, playing up the puppy dog eyes in an attempt to secure her silence. They arrive at the crime scene ten minutes before the time Dolly gave them was up. Screech was already here, his beat up old van full of magical goodies.
James waves a hand as Scylla slithers to Screech and gives him a hug. "It's been too long Scylla." Screech says with a smile, his voice is gravely, and tired. He waves at James, his smile still standing proudly. "I got all the things you asked for omae. I got a few ideas of what you are planning, but they seem like terrible ideas." His concerns were warranted James wasn't the best at making decisions.
"Relax chummer." James tries to calm him, "I've done this before, besides you're getting payed a lot. And the money is legal, don't to hire a decker to launder it at all." James laughs he feels better overall today has been an emotional roller coaster. At least this will bring a little normalcy, now he just needs to wait until the others are done with the crime scene, because it will be destroyed when he's done. He sits on the curb causally waiting having a bit of small talk with Screech, trying to kill time until it was his turn.

To shot the breeze and to hopefully past the time by Kade speaks up "So then Dolly do you know anything about our newbie, I would like to know something about someone before I've met them." Says Kade he just hoping Dolly won't say she a Decker or a Rigger because then someone will be missing up his workshop. Turing looks at Kade he knows Kade didn't ask this to be friendly he knows what Kade is up to he's not fooling anyone here. "Ms.Schafer so from looking at there resume I've seen that they more than enough suited for the job what are you thinking of the new recruit?" Asks Turing curious of Dolly's answer.

"You know me, Turing. I don't really have an opinion on somebody until I've worked with them for a little while." Dolly says as she drives. "Promising resume however. Oh and she's a Rigger, Kade! Meaning you gotta actually let her into the company's workshop yeah? It's protocol after all and you don't wanna annoy the boss yet again, right?" She says with the biggest shit-eating grin ever as she glances at Kade. He gets annoyed over every little thing to do with the workshop, especially when he has to share it with other agents. She finds it hilarious when he gets all mad about it like a pouty child. Shelly sits on Dolly's shoulder and makes another bird call tune towards her. "Oh shut up. He's been an ass all day, the payback is worth it." She says to her cyber companion with a roll of her eyes.
They arrive at the murder scene. It is taped off and all the evidence that was located has been taken in. Blood stains stain the floor in a large area, the spot where Elizabeth McGyver drew her last breath. She spots James and Liliane already here. She's glad that they made it on time, she put her neck on the line for them with that little lie. "Well drek. I just lost fifteen Nuyen." She says to James with a smirk before throwing him a credstick. "Body is en route, shouldn't take too long."
She turns to Liliane. "Good to see you, Street Hero." She speaks in German. It feels better to speak in her mother tongue, even better when somebody actually understands it. She turns back to James "So why exactly did you need to bail on me for a while? Or is me saving your ass from another scolding not enough to prove me worthy of it?" She says in a teasing fashion, but she is genuinely curious why the sudden disappearance.

Noticing his surprise at her sudden presence, Liliane's cheerful expression fell into something slightly more neutral. As James said that work wasn't his reason for being heavily armed, she looked at him concerned but non-accusingly. She fought against her suit as she stretched a bit, loosening up after the long run. As James explained what he had actually been planning to do, though, she stopped abruptly in surprise. Her energetic disposition gave way to silence and she watched James with concern as he described his situation. Though her expression was hard when James first mentioned that he was planning on killing a group of people by himself without a case for it, she began to relax and soften a bit when he went on to further explain the murder of his friend. After James finished making a case for himself, she removed the clear visor from her face and gave James the most serious expression that anyone among the agency had seen from her thus far. "James.." She started firmly. "You just said that they're murderers, so why are you going after them illegally? If we get the authorities involved, I can even make sure that I'm the only one who has to come with you. We could find a way to make them pay for what they've done without killing anyone." With the code of judgement that she ruled herself with throughout her career of enforcing the law, she had difficulty with accepting the killing of even known murderers. It seemed that working through this with James would be the only way to ensure that the situation would have a relatively peaceful outcome. Of course, she was mainly concerned with how much danger he would've thrown himself in.
Though she was still nervous about James's intentions, she allowed him to lead her back towards the HQ. Though she was still a bit stiff, she lightened up enough to joke with her companion on the road back. When he mentioned that he still intended to have his revenge, though, she became serious once again. "Just consider what I said about letting me work with you." She said, stopping in the middle of their walk and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Considering what they put you through, I'll be a bit less tight about unnecessary violence." Liliane paused and sighed a bit when James asked her to help keep his secret. "Of course I'll try not to tell anyone, but you know how much I suck at lying." She intended to keep his motives a secret in hopes that he would be more likely to consider her offer, but she knew that she'd still probably make them seem suspicious. As they arrived at their destination, she watched with surprise as James greeted someone she had never seen before. She decided to let the two catch up since they seemed like old friends, though she was a bit disappointed because she wanted to ask more about James's situation.
Giving the two enough space to catch up with one another and relieving herself of some of the weight of her suit, she took a seat on one of the large building's steps. While waiting for the others to arrive, she idly played around with something on her digital visor though she kept thinking about her conversation with James. Eventually, the arrival of the other members caused her to stand up from the step she was sitting on and give the people in the car a cheerful wave. Wiping some stray strands of blonde hair from her face, she cheerfully met Dolly halfway as she walked towards her. "Welcome back!" She cheerfully exclaimed in German, replying to her friend's greeting. With having so much in common with Dolly's past, Liliane had enjoyed the woman's company since joining the agency. She was preparing to say more, but watched Dolly as she walked over to James. Though they were a distance away from her, she was still able to overhear Dolly's question about James's whereabouts. Liliane's eyes widened a bit and she rushed over to the two, moving awkwardly due to forgetting to support the weight of her suit with her magic. "James had to.. uh.." She stammered in a panic, as lying came less than unnaturally to her. "He had to do magic stuff. You wouldn't understand." She cursed mentally, knowing that she had just suspicious by saying anything at all. As she looked between the two awkwardly, she hoped that James would understand that she was only trying to help and for the possibility that Dolly would actually buy it.

Dolly shows up and tosses a credstick at James, his hands glow a faint purple as he uses his telekinesis and sends it back to her. "Hurry up with your investigation, once I get inside, there won't be much of a crime scene left." Those are the only words he says to Dolly, he gives a nod to Screech who opens up the back of his van to gather all the components. Lil tries her best to lie, but its a terrible one. James doesn't back up her claims, or defends himself if Dolly wants to start something he's more than ready. The thoughts of quitting return to his mind, being on this side of the law was the worst.
Walking away from Dolly he heads to the van and leans against it pretend to watch Screech, in actuality he sends a message to Liliane "I appreciate the concern, but please don't lie for me. The law or the 'right' way doesn't work like that, Sinless like us don't get investigations, we don't get justice. So we get the next best thing payback. He died because I wasn't there." He sighs when he hits send, he hopes he doesn't come off harsh she's a nice girl after all. He uses his private comms and sends a message to Kade. "Hey let me know if you want some side work, keep it between us." The message is short and straight to the point, but he makes sure not to say anything too incriminating just in case he decides to tattle.

Dolly's E.Y.E implants flash a pulse on Liliane as she speaks for James, an indication that she's lying. She wouldn't even need them for this one, she was always awful at it. She narrows her eyes in suspicion at Liliane and then James. "James what in the world--." She says to the two of them and turns her head to see the Coroner and a few hands setting the body down. She reluctantly moves away from the two to get this started, promising to herself to continue this talk later.
"Okay people, let's get this rolling!" She says to everyone, voice moving into a serious tone. "Aida, use the cameras to get a view of the area and scan for any pieces of evidence that Lonestar might have missed. Kade, do your thing and grab camera footage, see if you can get faces. Can't get access to the footage? Give yourself access." She then turns to James and points a finger. "James. No childish comedy jokes about my authority voice, we're working now. Body's here, now it's time to do your thing." Finally, she lets out a whistle and Shelly zips from her shoulder and high above the crime scene, giving a live feed to Dolly's implants of a full view of the area. She then sends a message to Proteus to arrive at the crime scene
