Since Deaths is tasteless, everyone else can discuss music here.

So Nao, you've shown me some really excellent pieces so far. I'm not sure how much you'll enjoy my taste in music though. My tastes tend to be more aggressive in nature. Folk metal is something greatly enjoy. Though I know quite a few softer bands if you'd rather discuss them.

I'm open minded about all music, so I doubt it's much of an issue. Metal typically isn't my forte, but I think we still have a lot of common ground.
Wanna start by sharing more obscure genres, like the bossa nova we talked about earlier?

Excellent to hear that. The metal that I like isn't the screamo form. I prefer to be able to understand the lyrics. So have you heard of a band called Shinedown before?
Oh! We're aiming for the obscure scenes already?

I can't say that I have. I looked them up and they didn't seem too familiar
And, sure! Why not? I can start us out with that or you can

Oh really? They released a new album a few months ago. Pretty decent. They're well known for songs such as A Simple Man and 45. Definitely take a listen.
Oh well then it's only fair that I give you a genre then. It's a pretty general title but sad anime music is one of my favourite inspirations when writing. I could give you a compilation or my favourite song if you like.

I think we've discussed it in chat before but I highly recommend Sabaton if you like metal especially if you're a history buff like me.

Any recommendations for a novice to metal such as myself? Only really started listening to it lately after I decided to use "Run to the Hills" as helicopter music in MGSV. Listened to a bit more Iron Maiden after that (The Trooper, Number of the Beast, To Tame a Land, Hallowed be thy name, etc) but I'm looking to expand my knowledge of metal a bit.

After listening to one of the shinedown songs, I recognized it from radio. It seems good, but I'm not sure it's quite what I'm in to. d:

Well, I don't have the most interesting tastes in music, but I do happen to like Lindsey Stirling's music. She does a mixture of classical with a little modern twist with some dancing with her violin. Here's a link to her channel if you want to see: m.youtube.com/user/lindseystomp . I reccomend Shatter Me, Roundtable Rival, and her Dragon Age song. I'm a sucker for classical music, but I do enjoy modern pieces too.

That's great, because raz and I actually decided to make this because we were talking about classical and boring everyone else to death. Modern classical has been my favorite genre lately d:
And I did like that, raz!

That picture is rather... odd. Otherwise from that somewhat terrifying yet somehow sweet picture, that is one amazing violin! I wish I could play an instrument! Everytime I try, people thing I'm bludgeoning a seal. I'm going to stop now...

Tartini claimed that the song came to him in the form of a dream, wherein the devil played a better version of this song to him on the violin. The picture on the video is just a surreal visualization of that d:
And don't give up on playing an instrument! Even the person playing in the video sounded like a seal in the beginning

That song was on my classical playlist. It's rather good. I had thought the imagery was interesting when I saw it at first.

Eh, my music tastes are not focusd on a single genre, i usually go by a genre for a given period to swap to a complete different one after some time. I mostly listen to OST, movie, games, anime, whatever pagan and folk/metal music; But the genre I listen mostly is ambiant, it help me falling asleep at night. Here's one of my favorite EDIT: Oh I also forgot about my second favorite genre: New Retro songs. There are too much songs i like so instead I'll just link the channel www.youtube.com/user/NewRetroWave
