That is something I'm concerned with too, Alex. The Demon-Runners will probably be the best bet. And Envy you will know when the RP is commenced.

Maybe we should all talk about our character ideas, that way we could build a plot around that.

Works for me. Well I'm going to use a character I actually made for this world idea as I made it.
She's a Broken Angel that had her wings torn completely off. She was a part of a squad that tried to claim territory by force, but didn't expect a Demon General to be there at the time. All were killed except for her, she fled because there was absolutely no way she would survive if she stayed. This did not sit well with her Archangels, it was viewed as cowardice as she did not even think to save any of the others. In their eyes, she left her people to die. She was stripped of divinity and her wings were cut off (and it's not a pleasant thing, some would die from the pain and damage it causes.) and then ultimately exiled.
She hides her back, where the Scars of her wings are, from public eye and is under the guise of a human in one of the settlements. She takes the role of a Demon-Runner and her weapons were created from a greater demon she slain. Two jagged, obsidian revolvers that regenerate their own ammo overtime. (I forgot to mention, some weapons created from dead demons are possessed by them and will communicate telepathically with the user, trying to trick them into misdeeds.)

I shall create the character sheets for AoA and with the characters everybody has made, we will work out a suitable plotline from there. Does that sound good?

I still want to play as a Demon, though, if I can. I may have a pretty good character, myself.

Mostly focused on the smaller Factions and Angels. Demons will most likely have the role of an antagonist. I would think so; Demons don't exactly strike me as the type to spring for the role of a protagonist. I still want to play as a Demon, though, if I can. I may have a pretty good character, myself. Um what? Also besides the immortality/durability do Soulless get any other abilities?

That's pretty much it. They keep all their strengths, skills and muscle memory from before they became a Soulless but other than that, they're just everlasting husks.

Ok I have a few ideas for a soulless I'll run by you later when it's not 4:30 am

Is this supposed to mean something that I'm missing?

I just found it funny that you two were saying how demons should be antagonist and they you say you want to play one.

The antagonists are usually the cool ones, most of the time. Plus, maybe having an protagonist/antagonist dynamic may actually help instead of just aimlessly trudging towards an objective that usually never comes before we move onto something else.

What year does this take place? You said it happened 50 years ago so it happened in the 1960s?

It's been 50 years since Judgement day.

Ok so judgement day happened in 2017 and now it's 50 years later? I just wanted to get a feel for what kind of technology we had laying around, and what not.

Correct.

Post by Alexodia on Jul 20, 2017 14:02:11 GMT
I was under the assumption that Judgement Day came about in 1967, and the current day is 2017 rather than 2067. Even if that was the case, though, I doubt technology would have advanced all that much under the apocalypse.

Yeah other than some combos with demon materials/heaven forgery and human tech, it's pretty much the same as it is today.

Good I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this started in the 60s

I gave more thought on Xunderassa, since Swarm and Marbas is more developed in their conquests than he is. I've made his ultimate goal to find and defeat the living embodiment of violence and blood itself; War. To cause enough destruction and genocide to draw him out and battle him to the death.

So Darkeater Midir gave me an idea for one of the Demon Generals.

Basically a colossal demon that takes the form of a four winged motherfucking dragon. Obsidian black, onyx-like shards protruding from his back and claws and yes, he can breathe fire. Black fire. He cannot speak, but communicates telepathically and is the strongest of the Generals in terms of raw power and he's by far the most aggressive.

Sounds badass. As long as you don't take my characters form, go nuts.

I will be writing out the Generals tomorrow if I have time. So unless you have already mentioned their form to me, be sure to let me know so I don't make the mistake

So besides having multiple forms and being fuck off monsters, what else do demons do?
|
|
|
Post by DodoDestroyer on Jul 21, 2017 7:53:11 GMT
Their physical abilities are superhuman (duh) and some have unique and individual abilities, but those demons are exceptionally powerful like the Generals or the three rogues. They're also capable of telepathy and only harmed by the Angel's divine weaponry, or another demon's attacks. They can be temporarily injured by mundane weapons but they can heal from them.

Do they have any powers over humans? Like influencing them by tempting them or anything like that?
|
|
|
Post by DodoDestroyer on Jul 21, 2017 8:26:34 GMT
A lot of them are tricksters and can tempt humans into doing their bidding with telepathic manipulation to weaken their fortitude and then offer them power and a place in their former world.
It never works out, because it usually leads to them becoming a minion or having their soul stolen.

|
|
Post by Deaths on Jul 21, 2017 8:29:44 GMT
I'm guessing the tricks don't really work on soulless. Also how do angels/demons feel about soulless. Do they even care about them at all and are they able to tell the difference between a human and one. Besides the obvious ways like their durability and lack of staying dead.
